I figure I'll just go get a few RV's, on credit....it's not like we're gonna be to be alive long enough to pay them off...and we can have a caravan heading south!

If you're doing cookie dough, the lower end models (lower wattage) should be fine. The issue is bread dough is so dense and you have to knead it for so long that it really puts a strain on the motor.

That was my thought, too. I was starting to worry about even cookie dough after you said they have plastic gears, though! Truly, I won't use it for something like that very often. I rarely make cookies anymore because when I make them I eat them! :D
