Years ago my wife was on a big health kick of using organic wheat berries and milling her own flour. The idea was that when milled, flour begins losing it's nutrients rather quickly, and that's why store bought flour is enriched. So she would mill her own wheat flour and use it to make these incredible chocolate chip cookies. They were always a hit with everyone. That was my thought, too. I was starting to worry about even cookie dough after you said they have plastic gears, though! Truly, I won't use it for something like that very often. I rarely make cookies anymore because when I make them I eat them!![]()
Nah, that one passed. This one was about solar powerWow, that's REALLY close! Is that the initiative you were talking about earlier?
That's awesome! I have also heard that about wheat. It's much healthier to mill it yourself. I bet those cookies were amazing.Years ago my wife was on a big health kick of using organic wheat berries and milling her own flour. When we got the Vitamix, it was a package that came with the dry grain container so now we can use that to mill flour instead of digging out the grain mill.
Is it still that close? Sounds like that one might take a couple of days to work out!Nah, that one passed. This one was about solar power
OMG they make things so freaking confusing!!!Nevermind guys. I'm just dumb. It takes 60% yes votes for approval. That's why it's still a no with majority.![]()
100% reporting. It was no.Is it still that close? Sounds like that one might take a couple of days to work out!
The entire wording of the solar thing was confusing. I think that's why it was so close. I read multiple breakdowns on it a bit ago and I'm still confused about it.OMG they make things so freaking confusing!!!
I think 3 states were voting on that tonight? I bet all of the states who voted had big wins like that. I was shocked when it passed by such a wide margin here! We were one of the first, too. Us and Colorado, and it was a wide margin in both states. Now I want to know where all that tax $$$$ is actually being spent, lol!100% reporting. It was no.
However, Amendment 2 that I mentioned earlier passed with a surprising 71.3%.
The 750 comes with one 64 oz container, but I got a package deal on Amazon which also comes with the 32 oz dry grain container and a 48 oz container, and two 20 oz travel tumblers. The price worked out as if I got the dry grain container for free. That's awesome! I have also heard that about wheat. It's much healthier to mill it yourself. I bet those cookies were amazing.I have the original 5700 Vitamix but I saw the dry container when I bought mine last year. You can do so many things with a vitamix.

I'm shocked! #noimnot I swear some of those initiatives were purposely written to confuse us.The entire wording of the solar thing was confusing. I think that's why it was so close. I read multiple breakdowns on it a bit ago and I'm still confused about it.![]()
Strange times.
Welcome to your new home Mrs. Thang.
So we have an unexpected Trump win (quite amusing to watch the more liberal media outlets refuse to call some states for Trump till LONG after they had already been declared [emoji38]), and here in Cali, recreational use of a certain unmentionable substance on this forum has been legalized......so, many people will be upset over their candidates loss, but just maybe won't care...but WILL find themselves quite hungry [emoji38]

I was reading an article that said one of the biggest problems with recreational use is that companies in that line of business are becoming huge targets for robberies. Since it is still technically illegal from the federal standpoint, most banks will not do business with those types of companies, so rather than depositing the money they make, they are holding onto the cash. Having all that cash on the premises makes them a nice juicy target for someone with a gun who wants some easy cash. So there is support for passing laws that would absolve banks from any liability for doing business with them to encourage banks to work with the businesses.I think 3 states were voting on that tonight? Nice!! I really wanted the S Series one last year because of the 20 oz mixer but it was much more expensive than the 5200. A 40 and a 20 oz container would suit me perfectly! The 750 comes with one 64 oz container, but I got a package deal on Amazon which also comes with the 32 oz dry grain container and a 48 oz container, and two 20 oz travel tumblers. We had a lot of problems with that early on. Allowing the banks to do business with them would definitely be a good thing! I hope the 3 new states will take pages from our playbooks and do things more like Colorado did than Washington did, lol. It was rough going here for the first couple of years. Colorado got it right from day 1! They had been preparing for a lot longer, though.I was reading an article that said one of the biggest problems with recreational use is that companies in that line of business are becoming huge targets for robberies.
