Oh yum that sounds delish! It got cold overnight here. Our temps went from the mid to upper 60s on Monday to the 50s yesterday and 40 degrees last night. We should be in the 30s tonight. BRRR!!!

Looks like its time for you to order you some BOOTS! :D

Yes I agree!!! time to place that order!

The dinner was very nice! A full Thanksgiving spread! A couple of hubby's park rangers attended as well.
The one took a bite of the mac and cheese and looked at me and said "yours is sooo much better"
I have made it a few times for park potlucks.
That was sweet of her. The food actually was really good. No the mac and cheese was not as good as mine but it was not bad either.
The turkey was excellent. The stuffing was odd. It had boiled egg whites in it. I have never seen that before.
I do not like egg whites so I picked mine out.. the stuffing itself was good.

The dinner was kind of a thank you to those in the community who helped bring the quilt trail here.
For those not familiar, the quilt trail is a series of historical quilts replicated as murals in cities and towns across the country. We have several here in our town as well as one in the park.
I was surprised that I new so many people there. Not a large crowd but many are members of the park CSO.
Very nice people. Some of them are really friendly.. You can imagine how happy they are to have someone new to talk to! LOL (town of 800 and all)
The author of the book about the quilt trail was there as well as the woman who painted the local murals.
The mayor and his sister as well as the city manager who has my same name.
They sat with us. Although I have not met him before M has met him several times. I have met their brother who just lost his running for state rep. :(

I did try to refrain from showing everyone pictures of Rio!

That sounds wonderful! I have heard of the Quilt Trail. How cool that you have a local one!! :) I don't know how you managed to keep from showing Rio off, though. I doubt I would have been able to refrain. :D

There are some advantages to small towns...lol...
I love my small town. We are depressed but this community is so tight. Right now we have part of a family, a mom, dad, 2-year-old girl and 8-month-old girl missing since some time yesterday. They put their two "older" girls, ages 5 and 7, on the school bus and apparently went for a drive and disappeared. They have no cell phone. The girls got brought back to the bus barn after school when their parents were not out at the bus stop to pick them up so they didn't get reported as missing until yesterday afternoon, but the only thing people know is that they planned on taking a drive after morning chores. They live up the Wynoochee River so they had farm chores to do before they left. A small local search was done today (and a couple of news helicopters flew over) but the big search isn't until tomorrow. That's 2 nights with temperatures in the 40s and possibly the 30s tonight. I am worried SICK. I want to help. I will probably be out searching tomorrow. It's just heartbreaking and our community is going nuts with worry. :(

I was thinking he needs one of these.

NvisiVape

Gets rid of all the vape smell and cloud. :p
Paper towel roll, couple of dryer sheets stuffed inside, wrap one end in paper towel secure with rubber band. Leave the other end open, to blow through.
Old school ;)

ITS IN HOUSTON!!!!! Happy dancing!!!
WOOT!! I have no idea when I will be getting juice, but tomorrow I should get my teeny tiny batteries for my "Hawks LED earrings and my blue and green sheers for the bedroom, and Friday is mah boots and my grey slippers, so I'm happy dancing, too! Now if some juice showed up on either of those days all would be well in the universe. :D
