yeah I know! like it was working, I tried it out, but ended up with the avocado on there. now I wanna put the v2 on for awhile and it doesn't work..I even tried messing with the pin but nada. I just dont get it at all

The v2 works on a different mod, does the cricket have a spring loaded center pin?
contacts are clean. I got and have been using the cricket 'safety kit' [pin isn't spring loaded] so the atty isn't direct to battery like smpl, but I even tried putting the original cap back on so it was direct and that didn't work either. tried taking the v2 apart as much as I could and cleaning then putting new coils in. so bizarre!
Meka, that's so weird. Did you recently change anything else about that mod? Maybe different batteries or something? That can affect connections on mech cuz they sometimes vary in height and don't touch properly.
Red, your post made me go ? until I looked at FT this morning and sure as s*** they did it. The TFV8 just frigging came out a month or so ago and they already made a TFV12!
Did you see the Melo 300? That looks interesting. All these big azz tanks and like quad battery mods. It's ridiculous. MOAR POWWAR is not always the answer.

nope, same set of batteries I've always used, green vtc4. I thought I was being clever cause crickets are green. Doesn't work on any of my other mechs either, only on the i3.

Huh. I have no clue. I'm one of those people that needs it in front of me to fiddle with it until I MAKE it work.
The fact that it won't work on any other mod makes me think it's definately a posi pin issue.

I can't wait to play with the Frankenskull. I already know I'm probably gonna like the Karma, it's a standard direct battery mech with a convertible RDA/RDTA. But the Frank is gonna be my first BF, and I really want to like it!
I also may have alterior motives for getting both of those. I've been trying to convice the boss to expand our line up of mechs. If I get these, he might understand there are good mods other than stuff made by Wismec and AV. Those are like all he'll carry right now and the AVs are just too expensive for the average vaper.

I don't know which ones he's buying. I never saw the invoice on those and the boxes look just like the authentics. They're not bad looking, really clean machining, but he's pricing them fairly high for clones. The market here wants more $40-60 mechs, he's pricing the mod/RDA combos for closer to $80.The AV clones by Kindbright are some of the best on the market

I got the red/burgandy one. It was a close tie with the teal though. But... I don't have a red mod yet. Don't know how I'm gonna feel about the included RDA though, might end up swapping in a modded Derringer or something. Maybe a Sapor. Tiny bit concerned about the button as well, heard it's a bit stiff to fire. I'm a bit timid about buttons ever since the Emma and shocking me issue. (Never did get that cleared up either. Tried everything I could think of and it still zaps me once in a while.)
