I struggled getting up this morning. I was just so sleepy. I woke up with Zeus snugging next to me. He is such a sweetheart. Hubby says that every morning he gets up for work Zeus instantly gets in his side of the bed and snugs up next to me.

Oh, I'll end up still trying to use it, I'm just not happy about the fact they said it was gonna be one thing and then changed it to a lower discount literally the day before it started. That reminds me of shady sale practices at a big box store I used to frequent. They would jack prices by 15% a week or two before a big sale then offer a 20% off sale. You only saved 5% actually but everyone was blinded by the 20% signs.
I found a way around that till they caught on and changed the policies. They would honor sale specials if you had bought that item in the previous 14 days. I would just buy what I wanted and then if it happened to be on sale, I'd take my receipt in and make them adjust the price by the 20%! Ha! Unfortunately they "fixed" that to just the new final price, not the posted discount.
Tommy sleeps in his bed on the couch. When I get up he's waiting at my door lol. As soon as I sit down, he's in my lap, as he is now, trying to make it difficult to type with his head on my arm lol. I love my Tommy

They are babies. They truly become our children I believe. I do not think I will ever have children, and Zeus and Mya fill that void for me Hubby and I planned to a couple years ago...But it just never happened. Can I come? MD isn't much better. We have "concealed permits" here but it's next to nigh impossible to obtain one unless you're police or retired police which is totally unfair.

YES! THIS! One permit, all states. Although I still think certain states will throw such a fit over that, they'll find some way to make it not applicable in those states.

Yeah, I wasn't the only one that was doing that either. When they changed it so it wasn't allowed anymore I'm pretty sure they lost a good chunk of their business from boycotting.

Is it ok to own one, you just can't buy one there?True dat. Complete and total bull honkey. Our biggest issue here is the "assault rifle" debacle. Apparently I have no reason to want to buy an AR-15 standard built because it has "no use" other than killing people. You can still buy a "competition grade" one that costs three times as much for shooting tournaments as such. But do I really want a $2500 rifle to shoot a deer? Or go plinking? Idjits. (And that's why I like being able to buy 80% lowers...)
Well, that and the magazine capacity limitations and the fact that to buy a handgun of any type you must receive a HQL (Handgun Qualification License) for which you must go through a long ... class and get your fingerprints registered with the state.
I like my fingerprints where they are. On my fingers. ...and any unsolved crimes because they're NOT on file anywhere...
Lucky me, I'm still a registered resident of VA so I can buy my long guns here with no hassle and just buy my handguns in VA. Although, I gotta look into those new laws VA passed. I think it got hairier down there...
