When mom and the kids were gone living in HK for 3 years, I rented out a room. After the boarder moved out, the room retained a certain smell that didn't go away until I replaced the mattress and box spring.

That is awful!

Today is the first day my side has not hurt since xmas eve! I had no side pain at all today! Yay! I only had a slight pain about 3 inches above my belly button on the right. I think this prilosec is helping

When I explained my symptoms to my new doctor and gave her the ultrasound report and hida scan results she prescribed me prilosec. Also had bloodwork done, and another exam. The blood work results should come back tomorrow. The other exam will be 2 weeks. I just hope my candy bar and sprite adventures from the night before does not interfere with my blood results.

Could the acid cause the side pains i have had this past year?

Reflux can cause all kinds of problems...even chest pains that feel like a heart attack. If you have a sensitive spot in your digestive system, the acid can definitely irritate that.

Update of Mya Her is growing. It is so difficult to get a picture of her....she never holds still. Lol

It could have been what caused the chest wall issues I had instead of it being an injury like the hospital guessed.
I figured since after only taking 1 pill my side quit hurting!

I'm sure I'm being mocked in other threads already for dispensing medical advice....lol...but if I were you, I'd call back your first doctor and thank them for putting you through the pain, expense and worry of all those tests for ACID REFUUX

You know there are a ton of little hidey-holes in the Social Group Forums sections. I don't think a whole lot of people cruise around in there. No doubt! I should call them back and give them crap for their lack of effort! I got more effort out of the new doctor in one visit than I did in one year from the other place.
