Low 90's today, and a/c went out again...grrrrr

Wow I had the heater on almost all the way high in my car after work. It's about 55 degrees! It definitely feels like fall here.

I've been watching updates. It's going to get nasty here for the next 3 days. I believe emergency operations are at level 2 and will be at level 1 in the morning. Hurricane shelters are opening at 7am tomorrow morning and the fire departments are giving out sandbags. Nice to know that all of the shelters here are pet friendly.

I was checking out the hurricane tracker and it looks like based on their best guesses, Matthew won't be coming my way. The current predictions are that it will travel up the coast to SC and then veer out into the ocean. I suppose it'a good thing that it is hitting now and not later. I have to be back down in Orlando in two and a half weeks for a week of training.

What is he looking at getting? My friendly neighborhood (if a 30 minute drive is considered the neighborhood) just got in the Smok Alien mod and I asked him to set aside a black and gold one for me. I really don't need any more mods, but it's just so purty.......the size is supposed to be comparable to the Sigelei and the Fuchai 213.

Hmm... Didn't think of that. Well, the family room does have blackout curtains.

I only got the lower end model with the 120 hz refresh rate. Couldn't justify spending more than double the price to get the model with the 240 hz refresh rate.

I haven't blown away yet. I don't think it's going to get bad for me until tonight or tomorrow. I'm about 50 minutes north and a tiny bit west of Orlando.

I saw something about that last night. I really hope it doesn't swing around again. That would be brutal for the people on the coast. Plus with hurricanes like this, it is almost guaranteed that there will be a large power outage. It's already dangerous for the poor line workers out there that will be trying to restore power, much less if we get a second wave.
