Awww....lol If I had a little dog I would not take it to the big dog section if I was nervous about its safety. It is kind of unfair to to do that, and then expect those who belong in that section of the park to stay away. When it comes to huskies, the more you tell them to stay away, the more they want to check it out! Lol My little sister has a disorder and does not like to touch anything (yes, its as bad as it sounds...), and Zeus follows her everywhere when shes here trying to make her pet him :) Eventually she gives in, and he gets so excited...its pretty funny!
I wish we could get ppl to understand! Most of our dogs are pretty friendly, but when a yappy starts running, the "wolves" want to chase.

Thats good!
It looks like noon to 8 pm today will be the worst part of the typhoon. The water department is on the property adjacent to ours and they just brought in the big generator a few minutes ago. The last time this happened we were without water for a few days. I had forgotten all about that part!

Haha! Thats funny! I like little dogs, but I pictured Beast seeing a little dog running! Lol
Me too! I just pictured the surpised look on his face when this tiny little stuffed animal started to take off, lol.

Sunday at the park, someone put down a 3lb dog (in the big dog section) and told US to keep the huskies away...snort...
What!!! What is wrong with people?? Poor dogs, both little and big. That's not fair to anybody. :(

The yappetizer was running as fast as has a little legs would carry him… Max just kind of lopes along behind him

It is unfair! I just don't get people sometimes.

Your poor sister! Zeus, too! That must be difficult for both of them.

Now that they have the generator hooked up we won't lose water if we lose power. Apparently we had the generators in 2007 but the water guy didn't hook them up. This time they are not taking any chances, lol!

That must have been pretty funny! Well except for the poor little dog. I bet he was terrified. :(

Apparently all our neighbors were getting water out of our neighbor Brenda's swimming pool, lol! Brenda is our day care lady, where Kennedie went when I had her. They have an actual pool that they open on Memorial Day and close on Labor Day (or later if it stays nice out) but it's full all year long. We didn't know them back in 2007 but they are good friends of ours now. Hopefully it won't come to that, though. I will fill up some pitchers with filtered water today just in case. The strongest winds are expected between 3 and 8 pm but we are already seeing a little wind again and it has been raining nonstop for many hours now. I need to send hubby out to the garage to make sure the generator fires up. We haven't used it in years!

Check! They keep moving the time of the winds back. Now it's supposed to be bad after 6 pm, but I am starting to think we won't get anything more than a ton of rain. Translation: October in the Pacific Northwest. :D
