Just got back from my annual physical. Doctor says that I need to lose a little weight and that should take care of the slightly elevated blood pressure.

I am making chicken piccata for dinner. Sides wil be grean beans, alfredo noodles and tomato and onion salad.

Egg wash. Scramble an egg and dip the chicken in the egg prior to coating the chicken.

Yup...and make sure your oil is hot enough

It has been awhile since I have cooked it I rarely question my cooking ability but that is just one thing that is always hit or miss for me! I also texted my friend Mac asking because he is a chef. He said the same exact things you two did.

I love Italian food...even cooking it is relaxing to me!

Oh Me too!! I even make my pasta from scratch often. Reminds me of when I was little and my cousins Italian nonna would babysit me.
There was always 5 things cooking in her kitchen and a table full of fresh pasta and sauces and breads and desserts.
Wonderful memories!!

I think with the green beans I am going to add bacon and some potatoes too! I have bread dough rising in the bread machine.

I was gonna bake some bread soon...if it ever cools down! I've never used a bread machine, though...lol...I have a pasta machine somewhere...

I mix the dough by hand and have a pasta press. I am going to buy the attachment for the kitchenaid that makes elbow type pastas.
