I'm so sorry... maybe a rent-to-own?
I've only seen 3 of those in our price range. One is already gone. One needed too much work to be livable. The other isn't available yet.

Still think the numbers the bank is trying to feed me are b.s. They are saying we need at least $8,000-10,000 for the down payment, when the houses I was looking out would only need $3,000-5,000 to hit 20%. Also said that insurance fees are hundreds per month, even though I already checked into prices for that. They didn't do any credit or income checks. Just told us we needed way more money.

If they didn't do any checks...I'd be suspicious

Most other places I checked don't do mortgages under 50k either. I guess apparently the average person has 30-40k lying around to spend for cheaper places.

Guess we could always move to Georgia and live with my parents.. hubby would love that suggestion lol

Hubby would love that suggestion, too. Last time he went to Mexico when he was young, their truck was stolen from in front of their hotel place. Then their locker at the border for the train/bus thingy had their stuff stolen out of it. Then they went home to find out that their house had been robbed while they were gone. He doesn't have fond memories, lol.

Lesson for today...if you carry a mod in your pocket while working...check the watts reading before you Vape… 200 W it's a little too much for me
Ha! I had the exact opposite problem today! I couldn't figure out why I was getting no vapor and my batteries were fresh. Apparently I had the button lock off and I was trying to vape a .5 ohm coil at 10 watts, lol. I guess I should consider myself lucky. I can't imagine the shock you got at 200!:shock::shock:

And yet, the coil didn't burn!

We didn't qualify for a mortgage (tried to get pre-approval.) Soo.. the next few months are going to be fun. :(
Well crap. Did they tell you want you need to do in order to get approved? Ash and Tony had to establish credit for 6 months and after that they instantly got approved.

That doesn't sound right.
