We are definitely headed in the right direction. I am getting more and more hopeful that this nightmare will be over soon. I wish it had never happened, though. So many shops that USED to be in business. :(
I was reading that a lot of vape shops in PA has already gone out of business (or the shops stopped carrying vape stuff). The 40 percent tax was just way too heavy for a lot of shop owners. If they purchase $1,000 worth of vape stuff, they need to send $400 to the state before they even sell anything. And the state made the tax retroactive so the day that the law went into effect, store owners had to pay the 40 percent tax on everything they had in inventory.

It's raining....again :(
Here too. We're on flood warning. No surprise there. The snow pack is HUGE this year so I expect it's not going to be pretty for the next few months. Of course we could get 20-degree weather again here shortly, so maybe the flooding won't be too awful. It's the mudslides I worry about!

One of them is a friend on twitter. He had a thriving shop he poured every penny into, and had to close it down.

I know, it's awful. I have a friend who lives there. I keep seeing all these lists of "the worst state laws" and somehow PA keeps getting missed. Their laws are some of the very worst!!

That's so sad. I hate seeing all of the "going out of business" posts. :(
