maybe a stupid coil building question

Fairly new to rebuildables and have watched hours of youtube on the subject. It seems that almost all the videos show whoever the builder is wrapping the coil starting at the bottom, bring the wire over the top towards themselves and continuing for ever how many wraps. That was a long sentence! Under, away, over, to me sorta thing.

Finally,,, the question.

Is there a problem if I do the opposite? Just seems easier to me.

wrap your coil however is easiest, or however is gonna fit in your atty easiest.

I start on the top. It's still a coil in the end so no difference in performance. Orientation in an atomizer will be different as the top and bottom leads are reversed so you may not get the exact positioning of the coil that you want.

This gives somewhat better visibility of the wrap when coiling e.g. is the wrap tight against the coil or not? Of course, either can be successful.

It really comes down to how your coil attaches to the deck. Ideally, for a positive, long term attachment, your leads should wrap clockwise around your deck screws. Wrap your coils so that the leads end up in a position to do this neatly and easily.
