Ok so I bragged on here last week about my new 510 with mega batteries lasting almost six hour per charge. well I have now had them almost 2 weeks and each one is only lasting two hours at best. I am charging them via the wall charger and leaving one on all night but it is still only lasting about 2 hours. I vape about like I smoked taking 15 to 20 puffs every 20 minutes or so. Is there anything I can do? I cannot afford to spend anymore by ordering a ego right now.

Just get 1 ego battery for now then, it will fit all your 510 parts

510 batteries will only go so far. I'm not surprised they lasted longer when brand new and then tapered into the "2 hours tops" zone so quickly. I've never had a 510 battery last me more then an hour and a half of constant vaping. I'm sure you've heard this before, but check out an Ego or Riva if you want to prolong your battery life.

yes i know it will fit my 510 parts. But my charger will not work on the ego so along with the battery I will have to purchase a charger also.

Just get 1 ego battery for now then, it will fit all your 510 parts

and an adapter so that it will fit the 510 charger. I just got my ego and adapter yesterday and I LOVE the long life compared to the 510! I got the adapter for $4.

Heck, my first one (Envy Bliss) which is basically a M401 will last 2 hours..............After all the hype on the 510 mega batteries I must say I am not impressed.

It has a mini USB to charge it (no extra charger needed) and you can get approx 6 hours of heavy use out of it (so I have read that is, I get 2 days out of mine but I alternate between a 1000mah and a 650mah PT). Bottom line, big battery for a good price that you can use while it's charging. Win win win

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. But I will just have to suffer through with these two until more funds come in. It is hell being self employed when things get slow.....lol. I was just hoping there might be something I could do to get a better charge out of these mega batteries. When they are dead it seems like they only charge for about an hour and the light on the charger turns green. I just thought maybe they were not getting fully charged or something.

You can get a charger for $6 and an XL ego battery for $17, also at liberty flights. Went for 2 XLs and they're not nearly as big as you would think and they still seems to last forever after 2 weeks =D

The first time charging and using my eGo 650mah batteries, they lasted 3 whole days each of heavy vaping. Each charge and use afterwards are one full day of heavy vaping. Been using them now for 3 months and they haven't diminished.

True, true, I had a problem with one of my 510 Megas after being on the charger and the light was green to signal it was charged and then it immediately did the blink of death after I started using it. Clean the batteries threads and the charger and haven't had a problem since. That was only about a month after I got the batteries as well.
