Did MBV make the announcement a previous poster stated they were gonna make?

Or, have they still not clarified their position yet?

I'm not complaining, just askin'

;)

Nope...I inquired a couple hours ago and was told that they are moving slowly until they have more info...as opposed to moving extremely quickly a few days ago with almost zero credible info....

I just chatted with them and they said " be patient, an announcement would be coming later this evening"

Of course I pumped for more informative information , but, to no avail :-(

So is this just going to go away?

It seemed very much a knee jerk reaction to a not very unbiased experiment. I agree that it would be better to err on the side of caution but to pull all of a particular flavor based on one report seems a bit dubious. I see this as either a marketing ploy, or a real poor understanding of what they are selling.

Adding a disclaimer or warning seems prudent, but to pull all cinnamon flavors based on sketchy science isn't very smart imo.

You're contradicting yourself here, first it was not a marketing ploy, secondly they were just doing what they felt was right until they were able to get more specific information regarding the issue. They have since put these back up, so this post being contradictory is also moot. The issue was resolved days ago. No sense in rehashing the subject.

All over the place
Frankly, and this is coming from someone who doesn't care for MBV's eliquid, I now have a soft spot for them doing what they did. How it was a marketing ploy when one of the first things people do when hearing their favorite flavor is discontinued (especially when that flavor is not necessarily all that unique) is find a another avenue for that same flavor. I'd be willing to bet that other vendors benefited more than MBV off of this. Either which way, think whatever about what they did, as DZ said, "[t]he issue was resolved..."
