way before I entered Reoville, I experimented with micro coils, first few builds worked ok but soon the coils died off, the vape decreased by 75% at least. So I returned to my safe place with .8 ohm 4 wraps regular coils.

Every now and then I do a micro coil build again hoping I can figure out why they don't work for me. I find pretty much the same story.

I've been off from work for a few days and I stayed inside the house because the weather here is crazy cold. So to kill some down time I made some micro dual coils in a couple Philippine mods and rbas. one build came out to 1 ohm on the button and a another came out to be .7 ohms. that's about my goto favorite vaping ohms.

I just used a 1/16 in drill bit for wrapping. and 28 guage wire. wow wow wow, great results. flavor was great and the vape was huge and thicker than ever. my nico level in the juice was at 6 and that just blew me away. like getting stoned haha

So I'm thinking to take this to the RM2. first try with a single coil landed me a 1 ohm coil. not bad. worked great. except I wanted a little more warmth. a few hours later I did another RM2 build and got a .7 ohm coil. now I am liking this.

Vaped it all day and loving it. have diner, take a vape, all the goodness is gone. did a fresh battery. same thing. hits are weak and the vape is thin. maybe I need to re-wick. that helped to two or three toots only.

checked my screws and posts, another battery to make sure. I just lost all the goodness. This happens all the time to me.

just built my goto coil again. .8 with 4 wraps vaping like a champ..

Any ideas? suggestions?

I'm waiting guys
thanks

cant be to much cotton, I used cotton yarn, and just twisted one little piece without doubling it over. it was easy to go thru the coils.
once I treaded the yarn thru I reverse the twist so the yard is touching the coils. so its not tight and not loose.

in the past I did double the yarn and twisted it tight to go thru the coils but it was way to much yarn.

thanks

If using less cotton doesn't work...

You may be experiencing arcing between the firing pin and positive post of your battery. If you remove the door and look at the positive post of your battery, you'll see it when you fire. If so...

Clean the battery contacts. File the firing pin. Apply Noalox (don't be shy with it) to the firing pin. Apply a thin coating of Noalox to the positive terminal of your battery.

If you mean the whole strand of yarn, yes that can be too much. Once I started making 1.4mm coils my yarn became useless, grab some sterile cotton balls or rolled and play around with that.
