SO I've been using mechs exclusively for the last several months, and I like them a lot. But I recently got my Cloupor CNA30 mod from elev8 (orange) and I have some thoughts...
First off, the CNA seems to perform better at resistances higher than 1 ohm. My best performing coil has been a 28g dual 12 wrap on my magma that came to 1.1 ohms. It heats up fast and tastes great. Performs much better than the same build on a mech, I assume because a mech doesn't get to 30 watts on a coil of that resistance.
On the other hand, I have a dual 24g macro .3ohm build on a zenith V2, and it underperforms at 30 watts on the CNA. Again this makes sense, because that coil is pushing over 50 watts on my nemesis. Actually, this coil performs worse than the 1.1 ohm coil because that coil heats up so much faster.
Other thoughts: great form factor. Much better for slipping in a pocket and going out. Not all attys fit flush on the CNA... the magma being the worst culprit (a shame cause it's my favorite atty.) Oh, and it is VERY nice that the voltage doesn't go down as the battery dies. I have to adjust to every hit being full power, it's intense.
Mine is Batch 2, it fires from sleep without the extra button press, the battery indicator light is visible, fit and finish are good, although it's not really orange, more of a dark copper color. Mine does NOT go into stealth mode. Every time I push the button combo for stealth it just says "normal mode." I wish stealth worked but I waited forever for this thing and I am not sending it back.
Oh and I don't use my kayfun much anymore but I might now. It hits great at 30 watts on a 1 ohm build. Crazy throat hit.
Overall, it's awesome. It doesn't replace my mechs for builds under .5 ohms, but for everything else it does.
