I'm a bit frustrated with USPS at this point... My 4Nine and Rogue should have been here Thursday, but instead they spent 3 days making a 1 hour drive from the origen post office to the next closest to an airport. They still weren't here today. And to top it off, they completely lost another package with some truck parts I've been waiting a month for. Hopefully I may have my mech mail on Saturday.

Anyways, thanks everyone for keeping this thread alive. I'm glad it seems to be being enjoyed.

Originally I ordered a derringer and praxis mod clone from FT... I figured it would be a good way to see how much I like the style/function and then possibly will buy an authentic (If they ever become available again:)... in the meantime I thought a smpl mod would be fun and started researching that. I got sick of waiting for the FT order so said screw it and found the smpl, praxis mod and derringer on ebay and they should be here today....yeah, sporadic and impatient i know :p

It ain't FT.
West coast .... workers have been on strike, shutting down the ports.
They are upset they aren't getting raises, and can't survive in the $250k a year paychecks they get now.

My 4Nine and Rogue arrived today and I am really impressed. This setup is small, the combo minus drip tip is not much longer than my Nemesis by itself. I threw a .4 dc build on it and it's a little on the warm side for me. This atomizer definitely has less airflow than the IGO-W6 I've been using. It isn't unpleasant by any means, just not what I'm used to. I have pocketed it a couple times today immediately after dripping and it hasn't leaked a drop. It looks good too! I'll get a pic or two when I get home.

Derringer and SMPL mod clones. Very impressed with the quality actually. Neat, small form factor setup and it does hit pretty hard.

Very cool :) I'm hesitant to jump on the SMPL/Derringer train, I've never used a recessed switch or a hybrid so I'm not sure if I'd like it or not. But the form factor is amazing, and I imagine both in SS would be fairly durable as well. Nice setup!

Honestly, i was a bit nervous about the switch since it is non locking but, you can set it upright on a flat surface and it does not fire. Now, sticking in your pocket like some do, im not so comfy with that. The Praxis mod clone should be here today so hopefully that will rock as well. I do like the safety of the switch a bit better but the smpl is going to be hard to beat.

I just picked up my ELA and Workhorse telescopic at the post office on the way in to work today. Although it's still going to be several hours before I get to vape with either of them, the machining and fit & finish really are stellar.

Make sure you post back after you play with them and let me know how they perform.

I've been using both of them for about a week now, and they are both solid performers. Really, the only big differences are the switches and the adjustable 510 connections. I prefer the 510 on the ELA, but quite honestly, once they are set, the adjustment becomes irrelevant unless switching atomizers.

I was a little concerned about the button on the ELA, but on the V2 it sits flush with the bottom, unlike on the V1. The locking feature works nicely, but I don't use it unless I am going to tuck it into a pocket.

The buttons I'd call a tie. Although the design is different, they both have a nice, light, smooth throw, and I haven't had a single misfire.

I've run both down to 0.3 ohms (pretty much the bottom end of my comfort zone, until I get some 3 mg e-liquid, lol) and neither mech heats up unexpectedly.

I think both of these are a good purchase (especially the Workhorse at its price point).
