mech mod not hitting like normal

hey everybody. so i vape on a stingray clone in 18650 mode with an aspire nautilus clearomizer. normally (even with ego style setups as well as my mech mod) the longer i inhale, the bigger the throat hit i get, the more vapor is produced, and the heavier my lungs feel. ever since last night that has not been the case on my mech mod. it is still hitting well and producing big clouds but there is no difference visibly or in the way my throat/lungs feel whether i inhale for 2 seconds or for 10. normally inhaling longer than 4 or 5 seconds would kinda hurt my lungs and burn my throat but now for some reason i could inhale for 30 seconds if i wanted to and the same amount of vapor and throat hit would be produced as if i only inhaled for 5 second (am i making sense) does anyone know why this is happening? could it have to do with my coil needing to be replaced? any input is much appreciated.

I would check your contacts. I find that polishing them and keeping them clean on my mods makes a huge difference. Especially the top contact where juice can sometime leak down and get between the contacts. It could also be your coils as well. With long hits it will tend to burn the coils up and when they go, they go.

Also, with a nonregulated mod like you have as your battery runs down so will the quality of vapor you get. I would try putting in a freshly charged battery and see if that makes a difference. Good luck.

i thought of this too but i charged all my batteries over night and tried them this morning and got the same results

Sorry.. no definitive answer from me...

But maybe your lungs are getting used to it?... getting stronger?... etc..etc..??... Just a thought...

Give your mod a good bath. Totally disassemble it and wash it Dawn or something with an old toothbrush. Make sure to scrub all of the threaded areas. Then polish your contacts after drying.

High end mod makers recommend this at least once a month. I do this to mine at least every two weeks.
