I have a rda that I need a new insulator for. If you find one, let me know. I haven't had any luck yet.
If it looks like the one that melted of yours, it should work.Would this be what i need?? Russian 91% Base Insulator
Nope. The insulator is a protection device; it did what it was designed to do by preventing your setup from exploding or starting a fire. Without a functioning insulator, it won't work. The ohm i built was 1.3. Im a little upset because i was going to switch to RBA to save more money and didnt order more coils for my subtank. I have no clue what it looked like before melting. I never took it apart. I dont know if i can find a new insulator, and without one i cant use it right>
Bingo, i would be willing to bet the positive block on the deck spun around and shortedI have a Russian v2 as well...the positive post like to spin unless you tighten it down with the little tool they sent. this could cause a short if it spun and touched something it wasn't supposed to. I had to use a pair of pliers to hold it while I tightened it on the bottom
Why get a new RDA if you only need a $4 + S&H part?Ah damn it. just spent 70$ For this setup. Any recommendations on a new RDA?
The few pages i see say it is identical to the kayfun insulator, google search will bring up plenty.
