You can use your regulated mod as an ohm meter.

A regulated mod would be a wise purchase, for your own safety. Leave the mechs alone until you understand how it should be used properly.

I have nothing to add, Mike, but the message sent by Zaryk is worth a second read for you.

so one question if i know the voltage ie 3.6 and my ressistance 0.25 i do 3.6/0.25 which is 14.4 A
The battery supplys current 35 A so i can be safe because 14.4 is much lower than 35A ??

For a Mech Mod, you should Always do Calculations using the Highest Voltage that your Battery(s) are outputting. And that would Almost Always be 4.2 Volts. 3.6 Volts is the "Nominal Voltage" for batteries like 18650 or a 21700.

The Next thing is to Understand the Difference between a battery's Amp "Pulse Rating". And a Battery's Amp "Constant Discharge Rating", it's CDR.

A Pulse Rating is Worthless. Because Who Knows how long the pulse the OEM used was? 1/10 of a Second? A Half Second? 1 Second?

Always use a Battery's Constant Discharge Rating, CDR.

What type/brand of Battery(s) are you using? And where did you Buy them?

Really good question. I've heard him mention an 18650 mech and 35A battery through his posts, so I kind of already expect an overrated rewrap.

Hello all again i bought an ohm reader so now i can find ressistance ,, i understand how the ohm law works( u use resistance and volts of of your battery(4,2) and if the A is lower than the A of the battery i am good to go right)? so what is left for me to check, how can i check my shorts, and what is left for me to do except that
What specific batteries are you using?

Mooch is the battery guru, he does thorough testing. He has a blog here on ECF. You should check your batteries on his charts for a more trustworthy CDR than manufacturers give.

A short means no resistance. But often means extremely low resistance. So you just want ohms verified in safe range. And make sure it gets a stable reading that doesn't jump around ohms. If this does happen just tighten post screws until stable

Sorry for confusion. Mooch is a person. This is a link to his blog, where you will find important information about batteries.

ok thank so with all this we discussed i wont have any safety problems right?
there will always be risks, especially with mechs

your VTC6 for example are good up to 15 amps. Staying below that is important, so are things like locking the button if the mod is in a pocket or bag

i'm not familiar with red sanyos in 18650, but mooch's blog should have their specs

Mike, I am sorry for this but...
Why are you so determined to use a mechanical when you are obviously not knowledgeable enough to use one with any degree of safety? What is your problem using the safer regulated mods, probably with drop in coils?

I would like to work on my automobile's breaks but I am wise enough to know that I am not competent or knowledgeable enough to do so.

I will give you no more help. To so is to enable your injury or, perhaps, death. I decline to participate further.

the LG HG2 has 35A and 3000mah, this how many amps can manage? Also i use them both in a regulated mod now can i split them and use 1 for my mech mode? When i calculate i use the ressistance and 4.2 volts and if i get 15 Amps For example which is lower than 35 A is ok? is this correct?

The LG HG2 is a 20 amp battery. You are going to hurt yourself.

That's exactly the point that is being made that you're not listening to. YOU DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU ARE DOING! YOU ARE DANGEROUS! YOU ARE GOING TO HURT YOURSELF OR SOMEONE ELSE! DON'T USE A MECH MOD! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?
ok answer me why the battery on its subscription says 35 just explain that to me pls
