Mechanical and me ...... flawed thinking?

I will be around for along time folks . If one is worried about the 510 connection I will have a stainless connection soon with no gaskets to break . If you can wear that out you need some help .

I think If I had the choice of only one mod to last me a life time it would definitely be the grand . The positive contact could easily be replicated even a old set of feeler gauges in a pinch or just buy a few spares .

Tim on the other hand is a freak of nature his mods even after many years of use still look brand new . The man takes care of his mods and I tip my hat to him for it

the gaskets are fine its the dang threads seems every time I drop my Reo it lands atty first and tears out the threads

No Gil just trying to make life easier on me and my customers . The gasket is the only weak point in the mod once I address this the mod will be bullet proof

You never no these things happen 2 years ago I was down for awhile some of the vets would remember this . Wayne my senior employee could take the rains if he had to for a while . He wouldn't be as nice to customers as me but the work would get done

Some careless deer hunter might shoot himself in the REO. Or dozer operator might get careless and drop his REO and smash it between rock and steel.
Other than those two things..there's no excuse for a broken REO.

i have never managed to break a Reo, Pietro has some excellent pics of his after it fell off his bike. Bushmaster drives a cutting machine in a harsh environment and Justice is brutal on his.

All their Reos work - there was a thread here once about battered to death Reos, but i have never seen one about one that failed to work. Karen.....

the only failures I've seen are user maintenance gone wrong, Stripped screws, broken center pins, pulling gooey insulator stuff out of the bottom of the 510
