Mechanical mod bettery advice, Sentinel M16 and Nitecore I2 Charger Questions

So i bought a Sentinel M16 from fasttech and have been reading up on batteries for the past month or so. In all my research everyone seems to have different opinions. Trying to figure out what is the safest option. Not buying the batteries from fasttech as for whatever reason i don't feel as safe using them. Can someone give me a few names of 18650 batteries that can be used in this mod. Safety over performance is my objective at this point, can always move onto better performance batteries later. Plan on building coils at around 1.0ohm to start with and going down to maybe .6ohm at the lowest.

Also i currently have the Nitecore I2 Charger from fasttech. Currently using it to charge my 18650's that came with my VAMO and it seems like a good charger. Is this a suitable charger for the kind of batteries a mech mod will use. I have read elsewhere that it is but just wanted to get some confirmation on this. Also currently i tend to leave my batteries in the charger when not using them, it says that it automatically stops charging once the battery is full. Is this safe ? And is it safe to do the same with mech batteries ?

The last time i made a post about mech mods and sub ohm vaping alot of people cautioned me on the dangers which i appreciate but i think i have done enough research at this point and finally have the safety equipment to give it a go. <---- Just saying i don't need the "You're going to blow yourself up" pep talk :p

Cheers,
JP

get some sony VTC4 batteries and you'll be set for 18650s down to 0.14 ohms. of course, i wouldn't recommend going that low, but it's pretty much the safest battery for mechs you'll see that's widely used. illuminationsupply.com has some good prices on them.

the nitecore i2 is fine for charging your mech batteries. i use the same charger. of course, don't leave it in the charger unattended. i wouldn't do that for any kind of battery/charger.

.14 ohms would NOT be safe to use with a 30 amp battery, that's literally pushing it right to it's absolute limit. These batteries do not have factored safety limits measured in, it would be relatively safe (only because we don't use continuous draw, if we did, I would say a factor of 3 or even 4 should be used) with a factor of 2 (pushing it to a max of 15 amps ~.3 ohms)
