I got my first mechanical mod, but I'm having a problem. When I press the button on the bottom, sometimes it gets power and most of the time it does not. It doesn't matter how hard I push it. I took it back to the vape store and the salesman adjusted it to make better contact with the battery, but it still has the same problem. Is there anything I can do? Maybe use a button top battery instead of a flat top? I've seen a vendor provide a magnet to convert a flat top battery to a button top. Will any magnet do? Which end do you put the magnet...Neg or positive end?
Thanks so much for any suggestions. Joya

What type of mod is it? Have you cleaned the contacts? Putting a magnet on the battery to add length is not advisable though some people do it. What type of battery are you using? Some have more wrap on the negative end then others, so depending on the mod/battery combo you may not be getting a good connection.
