I want to personnaly thank all of you for this thread. I just got into RBAs. NON-sub Ohm on a provari and Buzz Pro. I was just going to start researching mechs when I found this. I think I'll stick with what I'm doing for now (1.3-1.5Ohm). I am overly satisfied with this setup over a carto tank. Sounds like this is NOT something you want to rush in to.

FYI... My only concern was that my wife, or myself, would let the batt get to low and it would be dangerous. I see I have a lot more to learn.

I agree 100% bad. Alarmist can be a good thing too ya know!! You folks probably saved me and others some grief.

Study! Study! Study folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you move away from the fancy mods with all of the safety mechanisms, you need to know what you're doing!!!!

Edit 2: I didn't finish the thread. Thanks to all!!

I know what is far worse than someone who is a Newb trying to go straight sub-ohm is when you see a person who is a vendor and someone that people look to for advice, brag about a new setup and how it is a .2 ohm dual coil and the setup runs at 88w. AW IMR batteries are a 10a max discharge, just so you know and his setup what around 23a. Then when you call him on a dangerous setup, he acts like that is safe for his battery, safe chem or not, if you battery is hissing at the same time your coil is, that is a disservice to the community and the people who look to you for answers and newest setups. Also the arrogance of comments when 2 different people tell him it is a dumb idea, and his response is I know what I am doing. Too many people will end up melting there faces with all this people who are running crazy low setups. I like sub ohm setups but I would risk going below .5 for anything and I use MNKE battteries. People are dumb and ultimately that is what will dictate and regulations that get imposed on us.

I wanna add that you should read and then read and read some more before you try anything ! Whether its RBAs or Mechs or juice DIY.I have read so much about any of these areas of vaping and asked plenty of questions before ordering and trying anything and still continue to ask questions.
Im not saying that you shouldnt try these things out because they are great but pushing ohms lower or grabbing a bottle of 100mg nic isnt something you should just jump into with out the proper research and safety precautions.
Safety and Knowledge in anything you do vaping related or not should be your number one concern.
