hey rob, if I may make a suggestion that may help increase the popularity of your new mech woodie, have you considered the thought of making a new 510 connector, larger to accommodate 22mm atties? seeing how popular something like shaving down the grand to lp has opened up your market some, might be a good idea to expand this into future woodies too
here's a pic of how I did it, could of course still be brass with the 510 insert like your old one instead of stainless steel.
also, just to mention one other thing, the old 510's are glued in on a tapered press fit, but with these new larger dual coil atties and sub ohm
vaping things get pretty warm and the wood does nothing to draw heat away, so the whole 510 can get warm enough to actually loosen the glue up. before making this new 510 I've used larger atties on a woodie that I lp'd the 510 and I've gotten it warm enough to break the glue loose, try to remove the cap and the 510 comes out with it... I'm sure this hasn't been a problem in the past with 14mm single coil atties and not sub ohming but I think you will see this problem crop up once these things start really sub ohming, might want to think about either using a nut below like I did or maybe threading the hole and then threading the 510 into the wood as it's glued? just a few thoughts for you
