Does it become one piece because it looks so good or because it difficult to take on and off because its tight? How is the tightness on it? Any chance of it just falling off and losing it?

The whole thing is brass, so the top of the rm2 and the the stem/base of the tip will actually fuse together. You can get it out by tapping it from inside the cap, but plan on them getting stuck together.

Looks like maybe 1/8th inch or a hair smaller? I need to sand down my reo. How is everyone sanding it? Dremel?

Mine is 1/8", yes. On both sides. I run a dual coil at 0.3ohm. Though, I am a cloud chaser... my flavor is excellent, but I understand that most people don't hit their e-cigs with their lungs like I do.

As for sanding, and this is was recommended to me by the man himself:

Use one of the 510 connectors (hopefully you have one). Attach it to your RM2. Then, close your drill's mouth onto the 510 connector tightly. With 200 grit sandpaper in-hand, pull the trigger and let the drill do the work.

I would suggest being careful when your sanding that way, as I ended up taking quite a bit of metal off. See

. The first was from Rob. The second was my work. Here's a profile comparison.

What exactly is the copper firing pin that I am hearing about? Is it the metal strip that connects to the bottom of the 510 connector or the actual firing pin in the 510 connector. I broke mine trying to unscrew the bottom of the connector. I had this crazy idea of making a new strip out of some copper pipe that I had lying around.
The pipe also just barely fits around the top cop of my rm2, can you say air flow control? So I almost cried when I broke it. No worries, popped over to the website for a rebuild kit, out of stock!!!! NNNNNOONONONONNONNNONNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Emailed "the dude" parts incoming. Wish I could have gotten the new parts minus the spring but such is life.
I have been using my back-up Igo-L and K100. Damn I miss my REO!!!! Dripping is such a PITA!!!!!!!!!!
On a side note, anyone know how to make the Copper-vein go back to copper and not black? Probably just sand the body down to bare metal but leave the door.
