I am looking forward to it to folks . Its been a mission to get it done the company I am dealing with they move like snails . I have had to count back from ten several times to keep my temper in check . I would have switched companies but I am in way to deep at this point . If I told you what this is costing it would scare you . I got prices for $14,000 for tooling fees .The company I went with was cheaper but man are they slow
I bet you heard a lot of "that order is too small"

I am a Purchasing/Manager for a manufacturing company... nothing that could help out with the sub ohm kits though :(

In my department I have a "purchasing trilogy". you have to buy the right part, at the right price, at the right time. If you miss any of those aspects, you've failed. :)

Just my $.0150

Thanks
Geo

Yeah in construction we always say you have a choice how you want it but you can only pick two:

Good
Fast
Inexpensive

Sometimes you only wind up with one though :)

Back when I was a bike courier I used to say that there were three things I loved in life:

Riding my bike fast
Drinking heavily
Not wrecking

I could very reliably do any two at one given time.

This thread kinda got off track, but I'm curious what the status is on the upgrade kits. Are we still right around the corner for a release or has this been postponed?
The new prototypes passed the order has been placed .Were looking at 4 to 8 weeks . I have asked if they can give me me the first thousand pieces early . If I can get some early we will see them sooner
Any update on this? I've been putting off getting another grand, got the itch for a new one. I figure if the wait's much longer, i'll just order the mod and get a cpl kits later in the future.

This whole situation of ordering, maintaining quality control and waiting is the reason Robert invested in the equipment he needed to do most REO parts in house.

Back about a year he was sending the metal REO's out for finishing, then it was only anodized.

He can and does now do the metal body and doors in house. Then he invested and got what was needed to make other finishes available. Now powder coating is done in house.

Anything, any part that he can do in house is done there.

To me this really makes him the perfect supplier. Always wants it done right and always wants it done RIGHT NOW!

Always doing what he can to keep us happy and satisfied that the REO will always stand tall in the vaping world.
