I was planning on waiting for the new contacts before I bought a second one too but ..well.. I couldn't resist. I'm still wary of the wood smell of the woodvils so the jury is still out on whether I keep it or sell it and get a metal grand.

I run my rm2 with a .9Ω coil in my grand and I'm more than happy with the vape but I'll still probably get the upgrade.

It's not the smell for me but the worry of dropping it or ruining the finish. The only reason I will be selling mine will be to buy or trade for an LP grand! In the short time I owned the 2 grand that I have right now, I so got used to them being indestructible!!!

Do you guys remember that funny but true story post about the guy chucking his reo across the room coz somebody asked him what made him choose reos? I went to pick up some juice last night and made sure I placed my reo on the counter. A couple of guys looked at it from a distance. I was pretty sure they didn't know what it was from the way they look at it. But boy was I ready for chucking in case somebody asked. Next visit, I'll do some promotion for reos mods!!!

And just how many more Reos do we need to purchase to get you there??? I know I am game. I can do my part and purchase more :D

I am not into guitars so I innocently googled this? DAAANG rob!!!! The price surely woke me up!
I will never own one way out of my price range . You can get replica for 4 to 7 grand but its a bad investment like buying a new car once you pay for it the value drops

Hey Rob - Would you happen to have a pick of what these new contacts are going to look like?

I'm really curious about the shape of the spring - will it be a coil with different plating on it or sheet metal (like in the video)?

And the firing pin - with a flat top battery friendly point. I'm really curious to see what that looks like?

I know that parts are due in next Friday (+ kitting time) but it would be cool to see what they look like if that's possible.

So, are the various components for the kit, particularly the BeCu(whatever the material is) firing pin, coming together? Need three kits desperately. Batt. life is not much and vape is a bit cool at .7 to .8 ohm on AW 18490s in my Mini2.1, soon after putting in freshly charged battery.

Still a good vape to be sure, but I think its dropping volts through the spring? I guess?
