Yes that is the point some people are just to rough on wood mods . They love everything about them the size the feel . I hope this works out for folks like yourself . Your not alone on being rough on them of course I believe these new mecanical mods will be less problematic for people . No wired on off switch or push button that can die from juiceSo Robmeister... You described me to a T! How many times have I sent my woodies back to you for repair now???? Cracks, warps, switches, catch cup repairs you know me and wood don't mix well.

I haven't seen any wood grain options I am just getting my feet wet so who knowsCould do woodgrain as well, wow, the possibilities would be endless!!

I've been to 2 rodeos and 4 goat ropings, but, I WOULD PAY TO SEE THAT!!
I haven't figured out how to make a mod totally hoople proof . For instants How do you stop a guy that wants to run a . 2 ohm coil but doesn't do any maintenance hasn't used any noalox or deoxit on his contacts . His mod starts arching like a welding rod and he keeps running it until hes burnt the gold off his contacts . Yeah I no superstar but these things happen some folks have to learn the hard way . They ask noalox whats that I say you no that vile that came with your mod black gooey stuff yep that is the stuff . Or he took pliers to his positive contact because he thought he could make it better I love that one . I could go on for hours on things hooples do to mods .
What is cool about the resin mods is water proof extreamly durable . If you did drop it you could easily sand and buff out any scratches . The finish is the same color all the way though the material . No more warping even if you slop juice all over the mod . It feels like a highly polished cocobolo mod . So for a person that likes a woodvil setup but doesn't want to baby the mod its a perfect material for them . I have just started experimenting I think these are going to be very cool .

Dang it, Rob! Everytime I think - just one more purchase and I'll be set... then you give me another thing to drool over, and I've got another keyboard to replace from the uncontrollable offering of saliva streaming down my entranced visage. So... you've altered my plan once again - it is now to get an elusive mech woody for man cave arena only, AND a spectacle of a work hog, Resin-Reo/Resio (btw, what are you gonna name these pontificating beauties?!) for the outdoors... I guess my current metal grand will fill in the gaps... an awful thing you did there Rob, presenting teaser pics like that... might as well steal my money next time...

Would love to buy one of those in solid black. Any guesstimate on a release for one. Also, are they compatible with standard REO doors?

Rob..Just when I think I have everything I really needed,..mech mods, REOs mod, 100 watt mod, and a lifetime supply of batteries and 16 oz bottle of Noalox.

Ok Rob I'm not going to blow smoke up your ayiass but that black resin sucks brother. If you're going the resin way you gotta go all the way. Pour that clear resin with a red tint, throw some yeller, some blue and some orange, take a wooden spoon and swirl that stuff around some till you have a psychedelic sick mixture and then let it set and bob's your uncle as they say across the pond.
The stuff is fantastic, you can mill it in a breeze, you can sand it and it still looks good. Heck you can even polish it with some cutting paste and it will shine if you want.
Hoople proof to the max and cheap to make so you can even sell basic shells with no fittings for us wannabe modders who like to tinker
Nothing better for a bottom feeder when you think about it
.........and guess what you haven't even explored the possibilities of a psychedelic SL resin Reo yet. Yeah that's a thought because they're so easy to mill and a wacky SL resin would be just sick to the bone
