Is there going to be a variety of sizes available on release, I.e. 18650 and 18490? I'm really, really fond of my18490 and want another of same size.

Well, if I don't score as many 18650's as I hope to... I have a nice 18490 Woodie I'd trade you for one. :D

I could always get by with my two 14500 Woodies for small wood.

Me too! I've killed two springs that way.

I build .2 ohm coils all the time and I've only had spring sag once and that was cause of a short, I pulled the spring back up and it still works fine even with other .2 ohm coils. Idk, guess it's just luck of the draw, I haven't had any problems.

Mac once your spring has collapsed it will no longer collapse again in the even of another short you really do need to replace it :D

Edit - found my answer that it's 18650 only on this release.

Now new question...will the 18490 be forth coming in the near future? And does the 18650 fit well in small feminine hands?
I plan to jump on another wood run soon after this run is done yes there will be 18490s . I got rid of vv mods I am back to building wood mods again .
I am also working on building some mods made of urethane casting resins they will look just like a woodvil but of course they wont be effected buy e juice or moisture

That's great to hear Rob! I know you just have a small team, and you're all already over worked but it sure would be nice if the new mods were as accessible as the metals are. We wouldn't have to kill each other to try to get one. If they were readily available I would likely buy one every time I had a bit of money to spend like I have with the metals. I'm sure there are a few people in here that feel the same way.

I'm really not trying to bust your chops, I think it's great how you're evolving an already superior product to meet the desires of the faithful base of Reonuts.
Oh, and hurry up on the 26650 REO XL with the 15 or 30 ml bottle would ya! That would be the perfect morning to night party on the lake mod!

Alright, my sunshine and rainbow's rant is over.

Great stuff Rob, make some 70's psychedelic designs with that resin. Can you explore the possibility of a larger squonk bottle in those too.

Rob don't know about the rest of the gang but I vote for Super X doing a pre-sale day prototype vid review. Russ is running out of stuff to review and we would desperately love to see a kick ayiass review of the new Woodvil:D
I will see if I can find some things for Russ to shoot

Hmmm.. Resin REO! Sounds very interesting!
Always progressing, that's the key to a successful business. You stand still, you get passed! Great to hear you are always thinking ahead and offering new products & improvements Rob! Seems the resin REO would be a perfect addition. I would think a bit more affordable to the masses, light weight, durable, color options, seems like a natural progression to me!
I volunteer for Beta duty!!:)

Would this resin Woodville be Hoople-proof?
I haven't figured out how to make a mod totally hoople proof . For instants How do you stop a guy that wants to run a . 2 ohm coil but doesn't do any maintenance hasn't used any noalox or deoxit on his contacts . His mod starts arching like a welding rod and he keeps running it until hes burnt the gold off his contacts . Yeah I no superstar but these things happen some folks have to learn the hard way . They ask noalox whats that I say you no that vile that came with your mod black gooey stuff yep that is the stuff . Or he took pliers to his positive contact because he thought he could make it better I love that one . I could go on for hours on things hooples do to mods .

What is cool about the resin mods is water proof extreamly durable . If you did drop it you could easily sand and buff out any scratches . The finish is the same color all the way though the material . No more warping even if you slop juice all over the mod . It feels like a highly polished cocobolo mod . So for a person that likes a woodvil setup but doesn't want to baby the mod its a perfect material for them . I have just started experimenting I think these are going to be very cool .

Here is a rough black with gold flake experiment

So Robmeister... You described me to a T! How many times have I sent my woodies back to you for repair now???? Cracks, warps, switches, catch cup repairs you know me and wood don't mix well. :(
The prototype looks great!
Soooooooooo, that being said, seems to me I would be THE perfect beta tester! Just sayin! :)
