I know those that have read my I cant get anything to work threads will be asking themselves what is she thinking. Im really wanting a mechanical mod. So if ecigs are banned ill be set. So im asking Whats a good under $150 mechanical? Dont really care if it looks amazing but I want it work great!
I would like to learn how to drip so that means rebuilding but I think it would be easier then my tiny protanks and I have my vamo to check ohms
So what do u think would be good for me?

helps to know if you want one size, or telescopic/adjustable to try different batteries. if you poke around the apv forum there is much mechanical talk. models. tips flaws etc.

dont mess with clones so im no help there. the build quality as getting better but still not quite the same.

but there is nothing wrong with a mech as a matter of fact my provari is sitting since i got mine. i use it for certain things but other then that a nice mech with a killer battery and a coil around 1.2 ohms lasts plenty long and works wonderfully. and not much to break or fudge up.

LOL about the vamo i thought about a atty volt meter and said the vamo is cheaper and in stock and with regular resistance coils i can actually test them too.

and rebuilding a dripper coil is super easy compaired to something like an evod or nova head.

Size doesnt really matter As long as its a descent mod. I see a lot of clones on ft but I woukd like to spend a littke more for the real deal (if thats possible in my price range)

Get a multimeter. Digital auto-range. If you get one for $30.00 ish +/- is good enough to keep for life and use for other stuff too...like checking battery voltage, coil ohms, mod resistance, as well as household electrical stuff.

Using a mod to check a build is not "Apocalypse" proof, IMO.

Although you can get a multimeter anywhere even after the FDA's e-cig ban (if it happens).

The bottom fed, REO Grand is more than just a robust mechanical mod, milled out of a single block of aluminum, and smaller than a pack of regular length filter cigarettes (think business card sized). With its 6 ml bottle and 18650 battery, it's a one-handed (even when driving), all day, dripping system. You can start out with disposable cartos or attys and graduate to the Reomizer 2 (RM2) rebuildable dripping atomizer, or begin there first. With widely spaced, drilled posts (not one in the center and one next to it), and the short-resistant ceramic base, the RM2 is dead simple and safe to use, even for the elderly with less than stellar vision and shaky hands. The REOs also have an inexpensive, easily replaced hot spring that collapses and disconnects the battery in the event of a short.

You get the best of vaping, dripping, without the hassle. A squeeze (squonk) on the bottle feeds juice up to the atty without inverting the mod, and the excess runs back into the bottle. Bottles are cheap and easy to swap out. The mod door slides into place where it's held with magnets. It's all you need to carry, all day long. :)

One of the best features of a REO is the active, close-knit Reos Mods sub-forum here on ECF, where the designer/builder is very active. I strongly suggest you hang around and ask questions there.
