Media Blasted Icon

So much win! I did however have an issue. It would not fire and I have read many posts about the misfiring on the icon so to say the least, I was ...... lol. Changed the carto out and BLAMO! Clouds.

I'm more of a "finer things in life" guy so I like smooth, polished, ect... but this Icon with the media blasted finish is much nicer than I thought.

Not all Cartomizers fit my Icon well enough to fire consistently. I add an adapter or two to handle the difficult cartomizers or clearomizers on the Icon. That way I can use just about anything on the Icon without frustration. The threads on my Prodigy seem much more forgiving than the Icon.

The funny part about the 510 adapter on the Prodigy & ICON = Tooling is the exact same. When the threads are a bit more "open" the tooling used is actually quite worn down. When they are sharp, and exact, tooling is brand new. The shop goes through quite a bit cutting our stainless devices all the time

Yeah, I have to admit... The Prodigy and Icon are sharp looking. I can't imagine those $150 mods that claim to have amazing fit and finishes etc to be any better... makes the PS product look like a steal...
I have had both finishes and I am surprised that I like the media better~ It's gorgeous.
