Surely there are vapers who get together socially in a city the size of Houston! Better yet ... southwest Houston. 'Way better than that, Bellaire/Meyerland area! I'll cross my fingers and hope to hear back from someone.
Viktorialee, I discovered since posting that there IS a vape gathering tomorrow, Saturday, at 5 pm at Dave and Buster's on I10, between Antoine/Silber. Will you go?
Maybe. It's a little far for me - I live closer to Galveston than Houston, but I would like to go. How did you find out about it? So I can stay plugged into when they're meeting also if I can't make it this time around.
That would be far for you to go. I found it by going to the Social Group Forum link that Dormouse provided in the above. Also just found a new group called Houston Vapers on this site.
Any Texans familiar with MaxCigs? They say they're the #1 e-cig in Central Texas right now but I can't seem to find a review of them anywhere that doesn't originate on their own website...
I just came back from Smoke Dreamz, which is on Richmond and Hillcroft. They have a decent selection of egos and eliquids, but they're good. Nice people too.
For what it's worth, I've dealt with both Alvinecigs (Alvin) and ElectronicCigarettesofHouston (Katy), and they're both run by good folks. Nice to have local suppliers who mail things fast. I'll have to check out Smoke Dreamz. I've always wanted to find a brick and mortar store.
Yeah, Chris is a good guy. I got my eGo from him out at Trader's Village when he used to have a booth there. It was very nice being able to handle it and talk to him before buying. The fellow in Katy (name eludes me) is also very cool about having people stop by in person to avoid mail delays. That's where I got my Revolution V2. It's great that there are so many quality suppliers here, and around the country.
