Ah, very nifty, indeed! Alas, it's a box. I'm looking for a more cig/cigar shaped VV. Something like the Buzz, but maybe a bit prettier? I almost got a Big Brother but, again, that box shape makes me nervous. Now I'm waiting for the ProVari reviews, but he wants $150. For a fogging tube? Please...

The Infinity is supposed to be out before Christmas. He posted a pic of it.

Katya,

Yup a box, it is quite pleasing to vape though. I do not have the ability to make small boards, so I bought a pre-made board. This is the smallest contraption it would fit in. I have many devices and I always preferred my eGos with cone. Since there were none out there, I simply built one. It is usually set at 4.2V most of the time and regardless which atty I use, voltage drop is 0.2V. I likes :) I also wanted to move away from eGo batts, so I made me an 18650 WeGo (wooden box eGo). Now eyes a happy man :)

I haven't though of designing that one yet. I'm not too fussy on the French inhale so nose it might be a little on the reckless side for my liking

Got my package in the mail today (actually, I was stalking the USPS tracking site, my PO scans the stuff as soon as they get it and upload the data, so I knew my treasure was there). I couldn't wait for the mailman so I made my trip to the PO early this morning!

The Mega 510 Drip-style Cartomizer is the "bee's knee"s of all cartos! :rules:

I am comparing their performance against the E2 Ceramic V4 XL Cartomizers in both 2.5 volt & 3 volt, with no filler material. Hands down they are the best I've tried so far. There's only one thing I would like to see, make them a little longer to hold a little more juice!

As far as taste, they are awesome, nothing but good flavor and throat hit.

Since I have only 2, I can say those 2 do not vary at all. I can't say that about the E2, pot luck as far as consistency with those.

Isaac when are you going to have them in stock for sale? I'll be nursing these 2 until I can order a "ton" of them!

Thanks much for including them in my order! Waiting (however, impatiently) until we can order more! Make it soon, please!
Now this one is such a Warming post! No need for nursing Grammie, these puppies are built to take a serious beating like no other cartomizer. ALOT went into these guys to ensure a durable unit. I'm so happy that you have found your vaping bliss! God, I can't stress enough how happy it is to know that your so excited and have found a love!
The looseness of the filler doesn't seem to have any effect on the draw but I think it gives it better filling and wicking. As I think, Angus said the draw can be adjusted to a tight or loose draw with the center post. I too am fussy to what I vape. That's why I have so many PV's, Juice and cartos that I don't use any more. I give these the big thumbs up rating.

ROCK ON 5Card! I just knew these would be right up your alley brother!
iken vape, im very very upset, i shoulda been the first one to beta test, now im gonna have to troll the thread about how good the e2 is until i can buy some of your new cartos.lol j/k

if i dont get a respone i will throw the biggest baby tantrum ever!!!!!!!!!
Oh no! Anything but a baby tantrum! I'll have the baba up on the site today! Promise! lol
LOL! Hey, do you think I would like these at 3.7V? Do they deliver a punch?
For Vapor, I would bump it to 9V LOL Just kidding. Your style of insanity would want to bump it up to 6V with keeping the cartomizer soaking wet.
Bump on what AngusATAT said,,, I'm really enjoying mine in the 4's range big time, just a really smooth, plumes of vapor, great tasting carto from 4-4.8 with 4.3-4.5 being my particular sweet spot on these. I just want some Iken juice to drip in them haha
Hahaha It's coming! Not officially in transit yet because my favorite rep is in training for a new position  I'm thinking just to go ahead and order the liquid and 510 Platinum cartomizers instead of waiting for the USA coiled 510 atomizers.

Okay, reviews in . . . when are they going to be available for purchase? :p
Wow!? Has it been a week already? Jeez time is flying! I'll finish up on the listing and have them on today!

:offtopic: Thanks, 5card! Would you recommend Infinity over ProVari? And, BTW, how do you like your Buzz?

Sorry, Isaac, for hijacking the thread.
Please Katya no apologies needed in the least!
I do have to share some bad news in regards to Infinity, while it is going to be an extraordinary unit, it will not be coming this year
However, I met with my machinist today and he surprised me with a very special treat. A person, a person who is a complete genius that is helping me with the design Project Chameleon. I was just blown completely away from this guy. Knowledgeable doesn't justify his level of intelligence. He holds on to 16+ patents worldwide and is not only a designer, but a serious inventor. I swear it was like talking to a legend. Just the air around him was electrifying before I even who he was. This is just one of many of his inventions Bell Rocket Belt - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I asked him about Infinity and what I want it do and he just smirked and said, it's very simple. So I took it to the next level of thought on a unit that will read your atomizer's resistance and produce the set voltage, his reply was the same "simple". He is a very good friend of the machinist and I'm pretty sure took a sweet liking to me. Both the machinist and him are good friends and just a great pair of guys with excellent minds.

From reading everyone's genuine posts to getting out of this beautiful meeting today was just an amazing day that will never be forgotten.

Switcher, what can I say? Your work is just astonishing as you are. Thank you so much again for such an indepth review. Such a beautiful job my friend.

Brought these puppies to visit the 5V regulated box mod today - 4.6V under load. Nope! I could taste scorching occuring in the RY4 carto and know full well now that if I persist I will burn through. OTOH the BB Menthol is rocking, as expected.

Considering what a carto is designed to do, I am totally happy with these. I do like the convenience of being able to drip with these to top off went out and about vice carrying an extra carto or topping off a carto. In my original post, I meant some folks are dripping, vice topping off with the E2s, I did not want to be doing that.

This concludes my review of these, unless something significant comes up, for which I will report my findings. Since I can, I am returning to 4.2 regulated, from 5V as I don't believe I need to prove I can burnt 'em out LOL. No I want to enjoy these under normal use and see how long they last at the designed voltage. Heck my RY4 one is going stale and I might just give that puppy a bath. <---- That in itself is indicative of how well I like 'em, because when a carto goes stale, I normally just toss 'em :)

In closing I hope my review was helpful in describing this product. In closing, if nothing else you will have a boat load of drip tips to give away as stocking stuffers.

I have found in the past that washing out cartos produces marginal results at best towards extending their longevity. They never tasted and performed the same again afterwards. I decided to do this one because of its construction that I wanted to give it a whirl.

Because it seemed to me anyway that washing them out compacted the filling, and hence rendered the pull to tight I quit washing them a long time ago. Today I decided to give mine a reverse enema with a syringe, drawing hot water through the carto from the batt connection, with the syringe connected to the mouth end, until the drawn liquid was nearly clear. My thinking on the process would be: because the top is unrestricted, it would permit cleaning the filling while keeping it relatively "fluffy" compared to being compressed against the bottom of the atty, whether by running hot water through it, or giving it a syringed enema.

Once the liquid was nearly clear, I allowed the atty to soak in hot water for 30 min or so. I then once again drew water through the atty. It was clear so I blew the surplus out from the batt end, to finish off with a quick blow from the mouth end, to rid any remaining water. I left it out to dry and will give it a whirl in a couple of day. I did notice that air travel through the carto seemed unrestricted compared to other times I attempted to clean cartos. Hopefully that was a good sign.

I can't wait to see the results. I used to wash them but haven't in a long time for those same reasons. I hope this one works out.
