Megalodon and Ego Metal Finish.

I have an ego and hope to buy the megalodon when its back in stock in here in the states . The megalodon comes in aluminum and stainless. I'm not sure if my ego is aluminum but has a nice luster to it at 5 months old and has not dulled.

Any owners of the megalodon with the aluminum finish please comment on how it looks with age , is it shiny, dull or did it dull to point where it cannot be polished to look nice again.

Would also like to hear comment on the stainless finish also please.

My SS Don looks great after a few months. My Alloy Dons require a quick polish every other week or so.

Shiny aluminum gets a little "cloudy" looking after a few days or so for me. After a week or so, it gets a dull look that looks bad to me. A little polish brings it back quick enough. With shiny aluminum mods, I either use clear coat to keep them looking like a mirror or satin media blast them for a nice light matte gray finish.

Thanks for the experience and tips. Perhaps stainless will be the one for me.
I could use my buffer with some polish compound and make it shine like the sun but perhaps it would just dull again . Clear coat crossed my mind but eh think i'll spend the extra dollars and get the stainless and be done .

I splurged today and bought the SS Megalodon, a charger , some 18650 and 18350 batteries.
