I was challenged to come up with some new CASAA merchandise. There are some samples of possible sayings for new T-shirts and mugs. Sayings could also be put on other items like bumper stickers, decals, pencil holders and ashtrays (some members use them to hold their e-cigs.)

The fonts, letter sizes and color are NOT set yet - these are just Photoshop examples to see the sayings!

The t-chirts have a CASAA logo on the front breast, as shown and the mugs could have a CASAA logo on the opposite side of the saying as seen on the black mug.

Would love to hear feedback on member favorites. I can't create polls, but I've numbered the photos - just post which numbers are ones you think you'd buy or think other people would buy. We would use these as fundraising items for CASAA.

Thanks!

You may not like me for saying this, but I think you could maximize your return on investment if you open up a thread for some better "sayings".

It is not that they are terrible, some have potential, but I think the brilliant people here could come up with something better.

I personally think that "vague and mysterious" can be more powerful than "in your face" and I feel that positive sentiments are more effective than negative. e.g. "Vaping is Awesome!" v. "Smoking Sucks!"

Just my opinion - please feel free to ignore me. :)

I agree completely. For example, I found #6 ("It may look stupid to you, but I'm not the one with a burning cigarette in my hand") offensive. It is clearly directed at smokers, and I think if I were a smoker I'd be put off by the mocking and somewhat superior sentiment. We want smokers to be intrigued and interested . . . not turned off.

Plus, there are enough groups out there demonizing and demoralizing smokers in an effort to make them quit. Me, I'd prefer to present truthful information and allow people to make their own decisions rather than use the shaming technique.
