So... I have some interest in a Reo, but honestly mechanicals worry me, I have gotten some back and forth, but I am becoming more interested. Apparently if the reo shorts the spring pops out? Apparently I will notice if a change as the batteries start to get lower?

I am interested, I want to actually hold one and try one... How are the bottom feeding attys different from regular attys? Can I put a bottom feeder atty on a non bottom feeder mod?

Sell me on it... make me desire it, so the only thing standing in my way, is holding one, and trying a vape or two off it... which if any of you amazing reo folks are near JBLM (Tacoma area WA) and want to let me see, that would be super... lol...

Ok, my apologies on not being clear. I currently am using an iTaste SVD with a protank 2 (have rebuilt my heads multiple times) I have 2 aga t2s which will be here monday and I will be switching to. I believe the hype that dripping offers the best, but no way i can drip at work, and quite frankly just dripping all the time would be rather painful...

also this set up would be ideal for at work... heck if its as good as everyone talks about i would probably love using it all the time

To answer some questions around your safety concerns. I've been vapping for three years and owned everything from cigasticks to Evolve Darwin. I consider the Reo and RM2 one of the safest and rock solid mods you can get. If you stay within the design parameters of the mod it's very safe.

There is a mechanical lock on the button, I never use it and have never had a pocket incident but I have had pocket incidents with regulated devices.

The spring is a fuse and if you get a short it will collapse dropping the battery down so it losses contact wit the firing pin and breaks the circuit.

There are a few simple rules that will keep you safe, if you go outside these parameters do a lot of research and make sure you know what you're doing.

Use the recommended battery a AW IMR 1600 mah, this battery can handle a 24 amp continuous load. Get a decent charger, never charge this or any battery without monitoring it, never go to sleep with batteries charging or leave the house with batteries charging.

When you build coils they should never touch the deck or sides of the atty. Always check them with an ohm meter, always check them when fully assembled with the top on. This will find a short before you even put it on the mod.

Don't build coils below .7 ohms on the current Reo. As you go lower you can get issues with the spring or firing pin heating up and melting the button. A .7 ohm coils is only a 6 amp load on the battery. This gives you a safety margin of 75%. so if your meter's off, if your batteries very old or out spec you still have plenty of room to operate safely.

Ok so a Reo is basically dripping from the bottom IMO dripping is great for the flavour but beyond that it sucks its slow its cumbersome and a royal PIA so yep get the best with a Reo drip without dripping  My reos have been dropped kicked run over by a car Honestly using a rep is easier than smoking and that was what I was after ease of use no hassle no mucking about and to top it off its tough as all get out so can take pretty much any abuse you can throw at it heck one of mine has swam in the toilet They make a great hammer too  get one ya won't regret it :D I wanted to see one first too and was fortunate to see one as soon as I saw it I was sold I only have 5 now but have had several more that I had to sell for financial reasons but do intend to buy more in the near future

These are posted by satisfied customers. Basically, everyone's going to tell you the same things: it's dripping (from the bottom) at its best; it's totally convenient; it's totally reliable; it's totally awesome; the REOs are totally beautiful; etc. If you want a totally reliable, convenient, awesome vape, get a REO Grand plus a Reomizer 2.0 from reosmods.com, then sit back, relax, and enjoy.

If, on the off chance, you don't feel the same way about it that we all do, then you can sell it on classifieds for nearly what you pay for it. Unless you find someone who lives nearby who can let you take a test drive, that's the only way you're going to know for sure. I can say that there's a reason why REOs have such a loyal following, why they sell like hotcakes, and why they hold their value so well.

If you have specific questions, any of us should be able to address them. Fire away.

Yes you will switch to 100% Reo use very quickly.

The Reo is just like dripping for flavor and vap quality only better. I dripped for years before getting one, I hated the muted taste of tanks and cartos. With the bottle and tube setup of the Reo you push juice up from the bottom to wet the wick and coil, then the excess juice returns to the bottle. The beauty of this design is that to drip on a top feed atty and get the same amount of juice on the wick and coil you would flood it but on the Reo the excess does not sit there it drains. So there is no flooding of the coil.

The Reo and RM2 are smoother than a regular atty on regulated device. I used 2 ohm attys at 7 to 9 watts on my other devices. I use a .8 ohm coil hitting 22 watts on my Reo. Most user find they use more juice and need to lower their nic level after the switch to a Reo. I was vapping 18mg and now vap 12mg juice.

Any regular atty with a hole instead of solid center pin will work on the Reo for bottom feed but the RM2 will yield much better performance. A bottom feed RBA could be used on any 510 device and dripped into from the top. a top feed only atty or RBA could be used on the Reo but you'd need to drip from the top.

many thanks to all of you, this has pretty much pushed me to, hoping i can find one to try a toot or two off of... but i am very interested, so a final question, the reo grand works with 18650, will the vv reo grand take 18650 or does it need 2 18350?

and i was planning on bundling a rm2 with a reo, if/when i decide to pull the trigger...

Its a very simple decision once you decide to take the plunge. I received my first Reo on Dec 4,2013. Now I have 4! They are that good and seem to be addictive.

IMO, Provari is the best of the best in VV tube mods.,,and I still have one for testing DIY juice and for playing with different attys at home.
IMO, the Reo Grand is the best of the best Mechanical device... I carry two daily.

just imagine the best flavor you've ever tasted from your juice, and the best vapor production and TH you could imagine. Then look down at the Reo in your hand.

They do not leak, they are comfy in the hand, they are easy to build on (RM2), and perform flawlessly. The nice thing about mechanicals is that there is very little that can go wrong with them. And, anything that does go wrong is easily fixed. If you do have to fix something that you can't fix you just send them in and have the pleasure of dealing with some of the best customer service on the planet.

The folks of Reoville are a friendly and helpful community. We will be here to help you in the event you have questions or need anything.

Finally, if you're still not sure after reading these responses...pick up the phone and call ReosMods directly. Chances are very good that you'll end up talking to Rob...he is a class act and a down to earth guy that just wants to help his customers and make sure they are happy with their devices.

I recommend you get one...or two. You won't be disappointed.

I just got a VV Grand a couple of weeks ago and haven't put it down. Hate to sound like a fangirl, but honestly, after just a couple of weeks, the concept of dripping or futzing around with various tank attys just seems ... silly. In fact, I'm about to list my Provari and maybe a couple of mechs in the classies to finance the purchase of a mechanical Grand and another RM2 - it really is that good.

Remember when I sold you my SVD? That's because I got my REO Grand shortly before that. :D

I now have 3 REO's, going to get a Woodvil, and the only other device I have is a Provari mini. My REO's get most of my attention.
