This is great! This is where my vote goes. It is simple - but you can tell it is just not a simple 'V'. I would also like to see a soft vinyl peely one for the car windows. I think it has to be the same - worldwide. Putting them in car windows will probably get the best exposure.:cool:

Jim - thanks for this great idea. Maybe we need a few ideas and then a poll.

I have to agree with you. I really like that one too. It is distinctive yet recognizable to other vapors and might get non-vapors asking questions.

I would also like to see the vinyl removable lettering. Not sure if the hubby would let me put a real sticker on our Explorer. He's kind of funny when it comes to his SUV,lol

IMO it sounds like a good idea, i mean spreading the word about vaping as a nicotine alternative can't be bad. I thought just vaping in public would strike the interest of curious bystanders. People that smoke should know that there is an alternative if they feel the need or desire for one, but I just think it would portray vaping as a "cool thing to do" not just a healthier alternative to smoking.

I mean if we want ecigs to be widely accepted we don't want vaping to come across as a club for the extreme only. Remember we as a whole on this forum already have the vapor passion or stumbled into it with the hopes for the passion.

There is a thin line between educating people with options and witnessing to people for conversions

with that being said VAPE-ON!!! :D

I'd like to have a vote on which design or use the V, VPR and V with the vapor coming off it all as designs:) I would like to see magnetized ones for the car as well as the vinyl "cling" type for the inside of car windows. Also shirts with the VPR and V with vapor on them!:D Don't be shy!

Let's do it! We'll have a vaper movement:evil:

Oh, you actually noticed that? :p

No one seemed to notice, so I just decided to use it as my avatar since I already took the time to make it.

I noticed.

There are times that feed back is slow in coming around here....

I saved a copy of your suggestion h8, along with Adverbs VPR. They are both great! Formal adoption by the forum isn't a big deal for me. I'm going to run with all the various suggestions as suits my mood.

Course a few more variations and a poll might prove interesting.... :D

While I think this is a good idea, it would only be useful in recognizing other people who not only vape, but read these boards and these threads. No one else would know or care what it means.

I think a bumper sticker that simply says:

STOP SMOKING - START VAPING

or,

FORMER SMOKER - CURRENT VAPER

would be more effective at getting the word out.

How about this......

I really like this image, but would like it even better if the two lines under the vapor would be green or blue rather than black, like the led at the end of a battery  !

I also like the VPR logo, well done to both of you !

Cheers,

Away..
Well, to get the most public exposure I'd have to go with VPR.
Why? We will recognize each other, but the word needs to get out.
Make the curious wonder if you can't talk to them........shout to them "just Google it !"
If VPR is used, Jim's V is in it.
Now....take it another step and put up web pages with VPR, vape, vaping, quit smoking the list goes on, in the meta tag so people can find it with a search engine. The page should only list positive and factual data.
No slamming or belittling any of the idiots that are trying to take away our rights.
It sends a bad message of just another radical group pissing and moaning.
Show them we are responsible adults.
You can site FDA about testing it against an prescription inhaler rather than a cig.
Thats factual. I think you see where I'm going with this.
Then link to each others site for more infomation....

There is strength in knowledge and numbers.

We need public awareness and support.

Edit: I also like the bumper sticker Former Smoker - Current Vaper
Would also make nice inside window stickers

Well, If anyone want to use my "V", It means:

1. It is a healthy person rising his/her arms to the sky as a sign of joy, happiness and liberation.
2. It is blue and green because it is eco-friendly and clean.
3. Has the Ying/Yang symbol because it represent living in balance and sharing spaces between non-smokers and vapers.

Note: The symbol has been registered, so you can use it to show it, but not as part of a logo or anything commercial.
