Hi.

I am very new. Been vaping only for a few days. Before I began vaping, I was frightened. Overwhelmed. Confused. I googled e-cig...and found ECF. Spent 3 weeks solid reading threads, reading the ECF library, watching mistressnomad’s videos (which actually brought me up from novice to comfortable). Felt better about the world of e-cig...but still not sure who'd be my first. I went from wanting a 510, to loving an ego, and fantasized about a $100+ modification.

I eventually found the live chat room. Over a weeks time talking to amazing people, I still ended up with those three lovers.

I stepped back and asked myself. Do I want a short or long battery life? Do I want something that looks like a cigarette? Do I want to be tinkering around a lot with atomizers, cartomizers, drip tips, dipping, and so on? I think those were my most important lover's quarrels.

After a LOT of thought and research...I decided to go with a RoughStack modification for $75. It's a sweet spot in my opinion, and has stolen my heart. 510 and EGO kits will probably run you $35-$50. A high end modification e-cig would probably hit you for maybe $100 to $135. So the $75 RoughStack kit is right there smack in the middle. I got my kit from MadVapes. The kit came with the Roughstack unit, 2 510 atomizers, 2 rechargeable protected 18350 1200mah ultrafire batteries, an AC battery charger, 5 cartomizers, and a bottle of ejuice of your choice. For a virgin...I would have to say, and only basing this on all of the threads I've read here...this is a really, really great and SIMPLE way to start your vaping experience, and a great deal/price. And no excess baggage.

To sum up my new relationship, I don't do anything much at all except blow out gigantic toe curling plumes of vapor ALL day long, rarely stopping to recharge. It's like making love, all day long really. I've only been using one atomizer (3ohm mind you), I drip a few drops onto it's sweet bridge which allows me to vape far longer than it would take me to smoke a real cigarette (analog). It’s so simple. I don’t have any of the issues that I was so afraid of. I don’t have any regrets. No complaints. This is how I dreamed it would be. This is how it should be. No frills, no anger…just love. Lots and lots of yummy, juicy, cloudy love.

Thank you ECF, I have no regrets.

Nicely done, Ice. Congratulations! It is good to see someone do the research and feel good about their purchase. I hope it brings you years of vaping excellence!

Thanks all! Ever have a few drinks and "assume" you can write a memoir? LOL

I think now that I'm no longer afraid of the e-cig world...I may still grab a few of the other toys out there. Maybe a different mod, maybe an EGO kit. You know, the main course is never as good without something on the side :p

I've already placed an order for some juice from backwoods brew. Watermelon (omg really, watermelon??), RY4 (because everyone is gushing over it), Menthol (not sure why), and Backwoods Blast "Fireball" (because I love me some cinnamon). All 24mg :O

The feedback you all give here at ECF is the best!!
