Menthol flavors?

Ok so I have bought my BF a Riva and now I need to get juice to go with. He smokes Newports and since I am not a menthol person at all I'm not sure what juice to get for him. Any former Newport smokers out there that can suggest what kind, strength and where to get it? Thx so much in advance for your help, I really want to get it ordered so he can be as happy vaping as I am!

One of my newly converted co-workers smoked newports and asked if I could find something like that. FSUSA has a New/Port flavor so I ordered him a sample. He really liked it and ended up getting a larger bottle.

You could also get a bottle of straight menthol and some tobacco flavor samples and experiment.

As far as strength, I always start with 24mg because that is what I need for a satisfying vape. I can do 18mg but I find that I go through juices much faster. But its all relative to the vaper.

I've been mixing menthol for a friend for a while now I don't smoke it myself but my friend loves it. He likes about 25% menthol in the total flavoring of his juice. He used to smoke Kool 100's if that helps. Almost forgot, I've read that most menthol flavored products have a hint of peppermint to avoid tasting like spearmint.

I was a Newport smoker for my entire life. I have since moved on to DIY for my juice. I had tried the Vapor Renu RY4 menthole ans it was good, it had a bit more vanilla taste than I had thought but it was good.

The DIY I use now is awesome but it took some time to perfect to my taste buds.

i was a newport and marlb 72 menthol smoker... and like said before freedomsmokeusa has newport (which i havent tried) and menthol ultra (which i do have). Menthol Ultra is very good. No medicine taste... just menthol

oh one more thing... in my opinion try to get away from cigarette flavored juice (I said this as vaping tobacco flavored juice... although it doesent taste much like tobacco). try something different. Thats one of the joys i found of vaping. No more menthol and regular only tastes... no more dried out cigarette taste. Try grape or vanilla or chocolate... change up pg/vg ratios... experiement. Im sure once he finds an enjoyable flavor he will be like... newport? ewwww. hehehe

taste is so subjective - I smoked menthol my whole prior life - Newports and Kool Mild 100s - there is Nothing that duplicates the taste but we all find our "comfort levels" - After trying a large variety of menthol juices offered by a number of different suppliers I personally recommend NuPort, 50ml, 24mg

However, now that I'm almost 7 months tobacco free, I enjoy a few non-menthol flavors - so much of vaping involves experimentation & adventure!

I Am a former port smoker but I have found that I do not like the Newport imitation flavors.

I am however, in LOVE with strickly e juices "menthol freeze". It's STRONG but I think any former port smoker would enjoy it.

As a former menthol analog smoker I went with Velvet Vapors Menthol Ice, it is awesome and the best one I found. I get all of my juice from them and every single one of them is outstanding. Good Luck!

I forgot to tell you that Velvet Vapors has many different sizes and you can order a small bottle until you find one you like. Their prices are great and the product is wonderful. I have tapered off the menthol and only use it on the occasions when I need it and want an analog...

I'm about to get some of that for my wife. She smoked Virginia Slims, and has been using the juice version from cignot which is very good - I found the straight menthol juice was way too strong, like a Vicks vaporizer. I don't like menthol much, but the slim tastes pretty good to me, smooth and not too heavy on the mint. They also have a Newport version.

I just got 50ml of USA mix from madvapes, after reading/watching some good reviews. I wasn't impressed with other marlboro types, but this is really good so far. IMO, there's no way vaping any juice will taste exactly like any particular brand. After 6+ months analog free, I don't care I just look for what tastes good to me - and it's much better than any analog.

Thx for all the advice! I have become a total addict and when my BF tried my PV I was vaping a Red Bull flavor and he did like that. Through out the night he only had to have a couple analogs and said he just needed the menthol flavor. We are gonna go online today or tonight so he can ee all the flavors and we can order him some samples. I just put in an order from Ms T's and am so excited I can't stand it, I'm lovin all the flavors there are out there to choose from.
Just got our RIVAs from BreezEsmokes last night and am absolutly lovin the vape I get from it and the flavors taste so much better than they did on the cheep generics I had. LOL and just a plug for BreezEsmokes the service was awesome and the extras Don threw in were phenomenal! Got my order in less than 3 days! Doesn't hurt that I love the name of the site too
