I thought I would start a thread about menthol and mint variety carts and juices. Being a former camel menthol smoker and now a menthol vapor, I notice many many...... Many kinds of different mints and menthols out. I really do not feel like ordering them all to find the best one. So what kinds do you people prefer? How about what pg/ vg ratio do you prefer and what analog does that kind remind you of? I am still looking for that perfect menthol. I like them STRONG. So I hope to find one with a really bold taste that is not sweet. The throat hit does not have to be to strong because it really is kind of a scratchy feeling. But I am still new to vaping. Maybe I will like that after a while or maybe the residual scratchiness will go away . Anyways.. My go to menthol is the kamel cool carts right now but I would like to find something better.

I only vape menthol and coffee and have ordered from about 7 or 8 vendors. I love the nuport from Vapor4Life. I also love their peppermint WOW. I also like Good Prophets Virginia Slim Menthol and Gourmet Vapor's Fresh Vape. I prefer VG cause I love a cool/cold taste and lots of vapor.

And Morandir--your new Avatar really threw me. Are you sure that is really you?

That's not me Ms. Gramva, that is Ihsahn. He is black metal royalty. King Diamond is king of the first generation (Mercyful Fate, Venom, and Bathory were the original 3), Ihsahn emperor of second generation...

Seeing you mention black metal and venom I would suggest Samael for your listening pleasure. From Switzerland so a bit different depending on album time era. Mostly second generation. If you have never heard it, I would recommend the album Ceremony of Opposites first. One of their best.

I am familiar with the album TechnoDestructo sir. Very good piece of work. Their earlier work reminded me a lot of Celtic Frost. Then they went more Kovenant route of combining black metal with techno. A friend of mine was very much into them. I fell in love with the classical based black metal, hence Emperor being tied for my all time favorite band. A very special moment in my life was when I got my grandfather, who only liked classical music and opera, to give them a listen. He could see what I mean by they were doing classical music with modern instruments. Did help they did an orchestral version of a certain song that will go unmentioned... :)

Who sir, I love smilin. The only issue is it's a sweeter menthol (I compare it to thin mints), not so much a stronger menthol.

Another band I know well Sqirl sir (if you're female and I guessed wrong, I apologize now). There's very little I haven't heard when it comes to black and death metal (black metal being my preference). Red Harvest is another good band to check out if you like that middle ground between the two... And of course the original line blurer Necrophagia.... Saying I like black metal is an understatement... :)

I actually haven't been listening to much of my death/black metal collection lately, I've been into industrial music like KMFDM and Rammstien, but another band I like in the Death/Black metal genre is Kalmah, their last 2 albums haven't been great but "The Black Waltz" is probably my favorite melo-death album of all time.

I can't wait for menthol vg Jeffree sir. The cowboy menthol vg was out when I went to order and hasn't been back yet... I loved the smilin vg in the 5ml bottle.

Yes indeed, Morandir. A good VG menth is something special to behold! The natural kick of menth combined with the heavy, cool vape of VG works beautifully even straight up. Makes me speak in foreign tongues.

Wow! And I mean that as an exclamation of delight and not an endorsement of juice preference...but, seriously, menthol and music...was anything else meant to go so well together!?! I love how these threads meander!

I fell in love with the "mislabeled" Smilin' carts and I like most of V4L's menthol flavors (I originally ordered their menthol sampler packs and am still working my way through them) but I am not quite to the "this is my vape for life" stage with any of them (too busy trying out too many new things, I guess); however, I know I'll find one (or five) to call my own. Trying is part of the process and a great deal of the fun!

As for the music - I refuse to tell you the first concert I attended because then I will feel...OLD! :p

Morandir - you should really be called Morandear because that's what you are :) There are several of you here, whose posts I read in secret, that convinced me to try V4L (yours were definitely some of the "deciding factors," Morandir) and I rather look upon you as "lifesavers" because your kindness and enthusiasm and support for one another convinced me this was a company I wanted to do business with and people with whom I wanted to associate :) So thank you, dear, and know you will always have my unceasing gratitude!
