When I screw my Atty in and I get it to work
I don't get a flashing light?
Does that mean I got a V1?

I think that's a misunderstanding from a previous/different thread. The stick doesn't flash when the atty is screwed in on either the V1 or V2 (unless there's something different about someone's?). You'll get a flashing light when the battery is installed correctly.

TMBrown327,

Out of the 6 attys I have with my first PV (1 Janty, 5 BE112) I found only 1 that consistantly gives both good flavor & vapor.

I basically swapped through all my attys until I got the "good" one.

Note: I primarily used the "good" atty in the generic penn-style setup (I only ordered 1 auto batt b/c I had already ordered 5 spare attys) and so I'm wondering if my JS "Baked" its own atty...

Could I be running too hot with the JS & baking my attys?

If so I suppose this "good" atty I just screwed into my JS (instead of using it with the BE112 auto battery) may get baked as well!!!

Perhaps I should see if Janty will warranty their atty?

Seems unlikely the stick would overpower the atty, but who knows?

AFAIK, Janty warrantees their atties (not the TAWA) for six months?

I just got my Janty Stick V2 in the mail today. This is my second e-cig purchase. Last year I bought a e-cig from some website in china, and I could never get it working correctly, it stopped working after a week.

Ok, well I bought the stick, two packs of cartridges, 3 batteries (4 total with the one that came with it), a second atomizer, and a AC battery charger. They arrived fairly quickly, compared with the first one I had from china.

Pros:
  • Good throat hits.
  • Easy to use with manual button.
  • Feels nice to hold.
  • Seems well built.
  • Doesn't look like a cig so people will wonder what I got in my mouth.
Cons:
  • Doesn't feel like a cig so removing my hand-held temptation is not there.
  • There really isn't a good "box" for carrying it, I guess I will have to use a digital camera bag.

Please post your feedback for the V2 here.

Things you should know:
- No electric device can be fully sealed, please make sure not to overfill your carts with liquid.

- The atomizer connection screw inside the compartment seems difficult to catch with your atomizer for some, pls push and turn until the LED lights up. When the LED lights up, the connection is solid.

If for any reason the connection gets lost during vaping, turn the atomizer a bit more to re-establish the connection.

Received my Janty Stick today v2 i hope: no way to tell as mine came without any box or supporting manual and scratches on the bottom end already; I guess to save me the grief of putting the first scratches on it myself. still happy to have received so very quickly, ordered on tuesday evening!
I am a 510 user and not sure if the atomizer is to screw in tightly mine seems to spin although i am getting some vape with the new attomizer. No rush to judgement however as i break in the attomizer and await my order of some 201 atty's as well. Ty ludo for the speedy service.
I am hoping that Elendil is correct in all his praise...lol and that he is on comission;).
How many drops are advised in the new atty?...sorry worked 12 hr day and another tomorrow not in much of a mood to surf previous posts.
Regards & happy vapeing,
mike
Already enjoying some better vapor and decent flavor despite the primer....nice little unit it is true the pics are very deceptive. Small and very covert.
And somewhat relieved that i did NOT need the pliers to screw in the attomizer.
Getting better and better with each draw...love the usb boost and awesome cart capacity..... It is already my buddy and getting along so well with my 510's. They compliment each other very nicely.
Had to update this one last time: LOVE IT!

I got my Janty Stick (guess it's V2??) yesterday. I gotta say I love it. This is the next, and hopefully, final answer for my vaping needs.

What I love about this device -
Batteries are affordable
Cart has great capacity
Vapor Production
Vapor Flavor
Multi color LED
Passthrough capability
Generic atomizer/cart compatability
Popular atomizer/cart adapters available
Battery Life
Price
Quiet atomizer

What I don't like about this device -
The draw is extremely easy, I would prefer a bit more of a pull
Battery cap, it would be nice to have a slide off cap that snaps into place
Lower voltage compared to some of the comparable heavy hitting PV's

I will for sure buy another one, if this one ever goes on the fritz, but due to some of the things that I don't like about this device, it makes me curious about PV's like the Prodigy and the Screwdriver.

Thanks for providing us with such a great device Janty :)

I got the holster with mine, but I want to be able to carry around the arsenal of acessories with me (extra battery, extra carts, juice, maybe even USB cable too :p

I picked up a digital camera bag from Wal-Mart today, everything fits in nicely. Case Logic TBC302 Black is the item # in case anyone wonders what this bad boy will fit in. It has a little clip for the belt loop, or you can run your belt through the loop on the back of the case. Smaller front pocket, and nice large (but not too large) main pouch.
