A friend from the italian forum showed how to easily make an 801 cone out of a standard ego cone.
He used an espander tool, in just a minute the cone is ready to fit a 801 atomizer with an ego battery (without any cut).
He has a long 510>801 adaptor so the PV seems very long,
Using a shorter adaptor you can reduce lenght more than 1cm.
Cool isn't it?

<< uses a eGo with a stainless steel drip tip. I went with the normal length, not the short model. I think the short drip tip would be to short with the eGo cone, since the air flow comes from the top near the tip.

exact model: 510/901 Stainless Steel Tradition Style Wide Mouth T-Tip

I only use Super T drip tips. I tried others and Super T's are the best. I really like the shorty contour ones. I have them in stainless and delrin black. They are perfect for eGo's and look like they were made for one another. I only drip - it's my preference. Except in the car and I load a carto for that (but I can't wait to get to my destination because cartos don't compare to dripping.)

Whether you're measuring under load or not, the actual voltage is sort of irrelevant. It boils down to actual individual usage and personal preference.

Prior to buying my first e-cig, I did as much research as possible. I read all the "510 is this.." and "901 is that.." posts. It wasn't until I actually used both that I truly understood the only differences that mattered; those being my assessments of either versus what was going to make me happy.

To me, the 510 and the 901 are very similar. There are differences in draw, TH, vapor heat, and so on, but they are slight. You can then weigh in the different options for each model (e.g., cartridge type, PCC, et al) and pick one you like more.

However, the native KR808D-1 batteries (Kanger made) are different. The standard battery is 280mAh. Yes, the 510 Mega is too, but if you've ever used a KR8 battery with a 510 atty, then you know the KR8 cooks hotter than the 510 Mega. Up that to the KR8 380mAh and you're a mile ahead of any other battery offered for a standard e-cig. Nothing can touch the KR8 batteries.

Personally, the 380mAh is fine for a carto, but I blow through juice too fast using a 380 with a 510/901 atty. If I want that much vapor, I'll bust out a mod. Again, everything I wrote is pointless if you haven't tried everything I'm writing about and have my exact same preferences.

Bottom line, try as many different models (e.g., 401, 510, 801, 901, KR8, etc.) and combinations (i.e., different model batts with other model attys using adapters) and find your own personal sweet spot. That's what I did.

I agree. A KR-808 batt is just as good as any 3.7v mod.... it may not be 900mah but if you're on a budget I'd say just get a KR808 batt and a 510 atty.

Is this comming to the USA also??
Or is this just for the UK??

Sometimes the US gets things first, sometimes Europe (but never normally too far apart in time...).

And some attributes of Janty products are tailor-made for certain Janty outlets,
e.g. the Dura-C with glow button for Janty Korea and Canada -

.....ah but then it wouldn't be an eGo. It would be a 510 at 3.7V. Speaking of being frugal, one can easily fabricate a simple box mod for a fraction of the cost of acquiring a KR8 battery and increase battery life in the process but, it still wouldn't be an eGo.

Just wanted to make sure this is everything I need/everything is compatible:

Item (SKU)

DURA-EGO ATOMIZER (duraego atomizer)
eGo Atomizer Cover - Black (atomizercoverblack)
eGo Battery - Black MANUAL VERSION (egobatteryblackMANUAL)
eGo Fast Charger Cable (egofastcharger)
DURA REFILL CARTS (dura-refill-carts-5 Pack)
GREEN TEA LIQUID (greentea-liquid-NON/0mg)

1 battery should last a while if I don't use it too frequently, right? Also, how long will 1 bottle of the liquid last if I use the eGo in moderation?

Sounds fine to me; although you should have spares, a 2nd battery and at least one, better 2 or 3 extra atties. Although most last fairly long, occasionally one breaks within a week or so. Rarely, but happens.
You also need something to plug the USB-end of the charger into, and your computer is not the best place, it should be at least a powered hub, or a wall plug adapter.

How long 10ml will last you is difficult to predict, most people vape around 2-4ml a day, roughly, but it depends on a lot of things.

Why can't I plug the charger into my computer's USB port?

The Janty World USA shop didn't state how many mg of liquid one bottle had so I wasn't sure how many I needed.

Actually, it is listed that all liquids are available in 10ml bottles here:

Janty USA - E-LIQUID

As for the USB port, I use mine on my computer all the time, I believe that USB ports on a computer can have different outputs in terms of power which may cause the charging time to be slightly longer, I can only assume that is what we're talking about here.

Ethan :)
