but i still don't understand why there is no guarantee if it's the same quality (so Janty can trust them)

Lower price should be for bulk, not for "no guarantee"

Buying bulk, means lower prices - and that lower price comes from somewhere; in this case its the warranty that had to go, to meet that price.

It's a secret!
Question for the Janty Guys:

I have been checking for quite some time for the Mini-Tawc to be re-stocked. Are there plans to have more, or has the item been discontinued?

I have been asking to have a more cigar-looking version of the Ego, but would it be possible to just make the mini tawc rechargeable and refillable?

Thanks!

I had the same problem with my TW Tornado in "Titanium" finish. The finish started chipping off. I was actually able to remove all of it from the cone and BOTH bats using my bitten and very short fingernails. It took a couple days of working at it here and there, but it's all gone. The silver non-finish underneath looks great. I'll be ordering only that from now on.

Been doing a lot of reading and I can't seem to get all of my answers from one place... so here I go ;-)

1 - Is the V3 a 3.7 device?
2- can it use LR 510/901 and 801 atties (Can it use 801 atties?)
3- does anyone else sell classic atties other than Janty? (in case janty is out)
4 - I want a good 3.7ish mod... I love my eGo, so, would the V3 be a good addition to a collection with an eGo and a 5V saber touch? 9Would it offer me something different)

Thanks, G

Been doing a lot of reading and I can't seem to get all of my answers from one place... so here I go ;-)

1 - Is the V3 a 3.7 device? Technically yes, reality no.
2- can it use LR 510/901 and 801 atties (Can it use 801 atties?) Not recommended
3- does anyone else sell classic atties other than Janty? (in case janty is out)Yes
4 - I want a good 3.7ish mod... I love my eGo, so, would the V3 be a good addition to a collection with an eGo and a 5V saber touch? 9Would it offer me something different)A step in the wrong direction. Now from the V3 to the eGo = a step in the right direction.

Thanks, G
The aforementioned answers are indeed accurate. They have nothing to do with Janty. JoyE does not produce anything at "3.7V", perse.

I assume you're talking about priming specifically after cleaning? In day-to-day usage I never suck a cart completely dry before refilling so priming would seem to be a non-issue.

In addition, I always drown my PTB's in liquid when refilling - which is also why I went from 1/2 to 3/4 of a full sheet on this mod. With half a sheet I was getting quite a bit of fluid leak on strong draws when using lower viscosity liquids (full sheets increased the draw effort beyond what I currently prefer).

My second PV was the Janty Kissbox. I got the super duper kit which is no longer offered along with some extras I picked out at time of purchase, and even after I got other PVs, the KB remained one of my favorites.

After what seemed like too short a period, both of my batteries appeared to fail. Man, I was bummed. Then, for several months replacement batteries weren't available. I watched, and waited. And, while the KB was out of service I got to liking some of my other PVs pretty well.

Finally, the batteries became available. I put off buying them, because I perceived them to have such a short service life. I finally bought two, and they were delivered today. They appeared to have at least a partial charge. But, I put them on the charger for a few hours anyway.

Then, I eagerly put my KB together and went to vape it. NOTHING! :(

I switched out the switch (I have 3 or 4) ... great balls of fire, it worked!

So, blaming the batteries and all along I had a bum switch. Too bad it was the manual and I definitely prefer manual over auto. I didn't know that when I bought them and have two autos. The dang switches cost more than the batteries.

Now, I guess I have to check the two old batteries I had concluded were dead ... maybe they're not.

Oh well.
