Ok I messed my mind up with this... I think I am befuddled again..

My Mind!!! I Miss My Mind!!!

First off... Healthcabin sells a Stick but it's a 510.. So they put the adapter in the Stick and sell it like that??? They had it for afew weeks on the site like that, but now the description doesn't say that so I'm confused again, but anyway.....

Are you using at AltSmoke

Battery Threads
AltSmoke | Personal Vaporizer Battery Threads - Battery Threads - Mod Shop

Or

Battery Adapters
AltSmoke | Personal Vaporizer Battery Adapters

And either way, what is the differance to these??

Ludo, since you are the boss and you told me to send my Janty Stick back for a replacement, I am following your orders. You are a very nice boss. :)

When I try to open a ticket it asks for an Order# so I just put in the number given me when I ordered the stick. Then it told me that the ticket save failed and that my email was already registered and did I want another password. I don't know how to proceed from here. Can someone help?

ladysolitary85, thanks for the hug! I feel better already! :D

Okay that sounds weird, - are you logged in when doing this and have you selected the correct helpdesk for the store you used?

Mik - I'm confused. So does Janty build all the 510 equipment that Joye sells? (atty's/batts) Same with the stick?

No,

Janty designs, Joye builds for Janty per Janty's specs and quality control. Joye now resells these things ( which they produce for us ) to 3rd party companies when we "allow" them to.

Makes more sense now? =)

Not everything is made by Joye btw, - some of our new atomizer coils are european for improved quality etc. It all depends - but rest assured, nothing leaves joyetech without being a "Janty" product in terms of meeting the requirements set forth for it!

uhm.

You make one =)

(Dont look at me!)

- we used to have banners from jantyclub.com, but we dont have jantyclub anymore - so thats why i cant "offer" you any. However maybe some of the other users in here would assist you in digging up some of the old banners - i do believe i still see some people use them in their signatures!

Mik, you are very helpful (you should get a raise!)

I will make sure I'm signed in tomorrow morning and try this again. Thanks! :)

I suppose that does sound nice. But, in my case it would just mean more coconuts, as thats what Ludo pays me in. Hmm. .. and to be honest, i havent even finished all the coconuts i have here so... im not sure thats a good solution.

Let me know if it works!

I love my Janty Stick, just wish it worked.
The switch is defiantly a weak point. You have to "find" the sweet spot to get it to fire up. The next thing was I think the juice dissolved whatever glue they used to put the two halves together with. It will and can stay together if I hold one leg just so and look up at a 23 deg. angle and so forth.
Man I love my Janty, just wish it worked.

Sent Janty an email after my original Kissbox atty that came with my JS refused to work. A week later my new atty arrived in the mail. No questions asked.

Excellent customer service, Janty. :thumb:

But.. have you noticed your cat is now missing?

Ethan works in mysterious ways. I will say no more.

Now im not saying this is a general problem, but yes the problem has been there with some sticks - the button is a great idea, but sometimes it will be a bit off center.

What you can do though ( and this is a McGyver solution for those without warranty ) - simply take a piece of tape - preferably a thick tape, and cut it out and put it over your button. This will enable you to press on "all" of the button at once, when you do press it. The problem you are having is because you are applying pressure to a certain part of the button and the button is shifted a bit in its alignment - this way can work quite good for that and if you use a black tape, you wont even notice it.

Just thought you could try that out ! =)

Angel - Hopefully I can clear this up for you!

The JS comes stock with an 801 atty/cart.

Janty sells an 801 to 510 adaptor to allow you to use a 510 atty/cart on the Stick
The Janty unit sucks because it has a resistor in it that cuts down the voltage to the atty. Its also expensive at $20 + shipping. It's good though because it's long and places the 510 atty so it sticks out a bit to make it easy to put on/ take off.

AltSmoke sells an 801 to 510 adaptor that has no resistor and works great. The vape from the 510 is same performance you'd get with a 510 batt, pass thru or other 3.7 volt power source. The only issue with it is that it's reall short so it makes the 510 atty sit deep in the stick. You can either screw the adaptor down tight in the stick and then loosley attach the 510 atty or you can snug up the adaptor to the atty and loosely seat the whole thing in the stick.

From your post, I went to Healthcabin's site and they now sell an 801 to 510 adaptor for the stick that looks to have the best attributes of both mentione above. It looks to be all metal, the right length and hopefully has no resistor (no confr=irmation on this though). Best yet it's only $7 (but you always have to figure in Healthcabin's heft shipping rates!)

So hopefully this clears it up for you. BTW - I totally love my Janty Stick now that I'm using it with a 510 !!!!
