wow just did the dry burn, i did it 8 times however... dripped some liquid in there(apparently there was a LOT of fluid in there cuz i got a lot of vapor ever time up to the 5-6th time doing it) went ahead and blew out the atty in a paper towel, dripped 2 drops of liquid put my cart on and good as new! THANKS!!

Youre welcome =)

8 times sounds about right , i usually do it with my jantystick, 5 times till cutoff, so .. but yeah as long you as make sure your atomizer doesnt get too hot, this process really works good!

Just make sure you know what youre getting into.

Heres some facts people often dont think about with high power mods:

1) They are unusable with carts, as they will fry the cart filling
2) They require you to drip manually very often - and i do mean very often
3) 98% of all highpower modifications out there could be potentially dangerous since they dont have cutoff or any other secure mechanisms built in, so if the batteries start to melt down, or if the switch gets activated for too long without you knowing it... you could have a problem - a big problem ;)
4) Your atomizers are not built for higher than 3.7 volt ( peaking at 4.2/4.4 ) - and you are likely to kill them fast - if you are new to it, replace fast with faster!

Now, im not saying all this to scare you off, but i think most people here knows what its like to be relatively new to e-cigs - and highpower mods can be really cool. However, if you are into e-cigarettes to give up on analog cigarettes, then my best suggestion to you is find a good 3.7 volter + a liquid you love, and only get a highpower mod "on the side" to test it out.

Oh and, the eGo has a higher peak ratio for a sustained time, making it more powerful than the dura, and giving warmer / better taste than the dura - you could call it highpowered, but its more of a nuance than a step up - but it is feelable, definately.

Anyways, just thought you should know =)

im still interested, mostly because of batter life plus the thought of a little more flavor :) plus the ego comes with every thing id need(such as charger and batteries) plus its not huge like some mods, and its not putting out extremely high volts so i think it would be a good compromise although im probably wrong in some way or another lol

I'll back you up Mik on the higher voltage mods. I have a PureSmoker Pass thru that runs at 5 volts. It definetely sucks up the juice and is tough on the attys! My JS and 510 have been running the same attys for months. The 5v PS has burned though several. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it. The vapor is huge, but it comes at a price - literally.

For the new Vapist, I recommend a 3.7 volt system for at least a good while. One of the biggest thing that turns newb vaper away is the hassle - compared to buying a pack of smokes and matches. It's hard enough adjusting to cart refilling, battery changing etc. Having to burn through atty's would quickly sour your willingness to adjust.

The eGo, JS and other bigger batt units that run at 3.7 are a great way to get started.

To be honest, and as unbiased as i can be, the eGo sounds perfect for where you are. My guess is that alot of people will begin using the eGo as their day-to-day go to e-cigarette - it just feels perfect! ;)

And looks great.

Watched Parkers review, and the finished product looks phenomenal.

Amazed that you guys squeezed all that mAh in such a tiny unit.

Only possible by NOT using standard batteries............=) And that is why , and cellphone manufacturers etc, do it - an off the shelf battery just doesnt cut it for the smaller designs =/

Hey Jeff! I can`t buy the ego in the janty usa site. It gives me an error. It says that I need to change the shipping method but there is only one option. Another thing, why the shipping price is sooooo big??? Shipping to Brazil is U$62.00???? Why can`t you send me by USPS like other sites? It`s a lot cheaper!

Thank you!

You should select the european store to get stuff shipped to brazil - that will only cost you 22 euro.... - i believe the price is set extra high at the janty usa store, in order to "scare" customers over to the europe store, since it makes more sense that way.
