First of all, in case of any future doubts, advice etc - feel free to make a post on this very forum - thats what its here for. For your own sake its often easier to make a brand new post with questions, experiences, etc - since it allows more people to answer in that related thread!
As for the burnt taste - the priming juice in the atomizer is a bit thicker than the normal juice, so it can create a "burnt" taste if you dont give it a rest, with a completely fresh battery. once the priming juice is gone, it should be able to give you a good taste until your cart is dry though.
As for how fast you go through them:
Its very different. Most people do one of two things:
1) They buy a bottle of liquid of the same taste that the carts have, and when the carts give little vapor, or taste "different", they take it out and put 2-3 drops on top ( or how many it takes ) of the filling material. Rinse and repeat. You can also pull out the filling material and wash it under water, and then squeeze-dry it and reinsert it filling it up with the liquid of your choice.
2) Some people do what is known as dripping: This involves removing the filling material from a filter, and simply dripping 1-3 drops ( experiment yourself , if little to no vapor = too much liquid ) and then vape until ..well there is no more, and rinse and repeat. There are many reasons for doing this - one is that it generally tastes a bit richer, the other is that say 2 drops is the equivalent to smoking 2-3 cigarettes ( analogues ) - and when you run dry, its a good sign for you to take a break.
We are in the process of developing a filter ( See the tesla filter thread in this forum ) that will allow a user to vape for 1-1.5 hours heavily, without running dry. This filter, hopefully, will be produced early 2010!

Thanks for the advice Mik, the burnt taste past a while ago now, everything is beautiful at the moment. It took a while to get use to it though I must admit, I didn't expect this thing to pump out such flavour. I have a Cappuccino dropper bottle and when I direct drip it.. wow.. The flavour is unreal, its almost overpowering at first, took while to get use to everything what was happening in my mouth lol

Ok So I have smoked atomic fireball from tasty vapors in my Joye 510. And it was great.
I read Mik's post about slow long drags with the cap thing screwed all the way on increasing the flavor. With RY4 I saw no big diff. With atomic fireball is was almost like sucking on the candy.

Glad you appreciated it - but yes, with RY-4 the taste remains the same, - i think it might be so specific in its taste that you can only get it to a certain maximum, and then you cant taste the difference.
You should try smoking caramel or cappucino on it.. wow.
And once you start doing slow, deep drags - it reaaally feels like analogues ( in the best possible sense )

Who sells the eGo system. Do we just buy it directly from Janty or does some one else have it also?
The reason I am asking is because I'm jonesing for this unit and their site says they are closed till Jan. 4th and I would like to get it shipped before next Monday!!!!!

I've been happily vaping the RY4 all day...got a couple of extra attys coming in this week, so I'm holding off on using the Janty polar mint because I've heard once you put menthol on the atty, it's hard to taste anything else. So I'll probably just use one of my extra attys as a menthol vaper. I've also got some Dulcis from Tasty Vapours and Caramel Machiatto from Liquid XPress on the way. Can't wait.
I think Janty is the only place right now..............I do think the are "licensing" other folks to sell the eGo (TW I think as well as Dietsmokes don't quote me though)............

Mint is hard to get out - when i do mint, and want to change, i just take out the atty, rinse under water for a minute, then use a hairdryer to completely dry it up again, insert it into eGo, put 3 drops of liquid into it, - take a drag, if it tastes bad, one more drop, and so on until it begins to taste like something.
That clears up the taste perfectly

Right now, until march i believe, only Janty will carry this product, - after this period it will be able to be bought from other stores, - first one is Totally Wicked, who will rename it the "E-NI Tornado".
However, keep in mind, if you purchase the eGo from anywhere but Janty, then you will also be under the warranty policy of the store you buy from - and NOT Janty.

I'd love to use a 901 with my eGo.
I could see a 901 adapter housed in an eGo's atty sleeve, then attaching the sleeve to the battery and screwing the atty into the mouthpiece end of the sleeve.
