Hey
Well, first of all im sorry to hear about your experience.
I am afraid due to the nature of the small design on the eGo it is hard to implement a physical on/off switch.
As someone told you, you should have sent it in for replacement the second you saw any kind of failure. I mean, and this is not an attempt at saying you are anything, if you see it fail once, then dont put it in your pocket or any other place where you "trust it".
You wouldnt do this with a lighter you saw leaking - so the same logic applies to batteries.
And as for your "what if i had been sleeping", - well if you were sleeping with it in your pocket, you would be to blame to be honest; and if it was on a desk stand then 1) it would be impossible for it to be activated or 2) you would have unscrewed the atomizer overnight as per recommendation
So - to sum up: I am sorry about what happened, and will discuss this with the others, but at the same time i feel that this is your own fault since you saw a failure and ignored it / kept on using the device.
I apologize in advance if you feel im "attacking" you in anyway, but i think its important to clarify whats a user problem, and whats a factory problem/device problem, to other users reading the thread - i hope you understand that.
As for your warranty - you just contact your shop, all of this is fully covered. You are dealing with Janty remember
