Ethan is the only reason I stayed with Janty for as long as I did. I keep looking to see if they are ever going to drop a high volt pv or someone mods the stick to 5 volt USB. Since they haven't, I bit the bullet and had to order a high volt pv from a different company. My first non-janty pv order.

Same here actually, I ordered a chuck to get the battery life I was hoping for; the 10440's in the stick would have been ok but it was time to buy more DURA batteries and there was no adaptor yet- So I bit the ammunition too and had to order batts from china (the 18650, which should reallllly last at 2600 milliamp hours compared to the 180 mah or 280 mah big dura batts). Still, I woulda been happy to just stock everything from Janty because I really like the company all in all, and one source for stuff would have been ez to remember, etc.

I'm sure by next summer they will have a decent array and range of products, and from what Mik is saying about his multivolt personal Jantystick XL that's all he every uses, it'll probably be a decent option.

Here's hopin.

Janty sent me an e mail on Saturday that they were finally in stock!! I ordered one right away. Got confirmation that it shipped yesterday. I'll let you all know when it gets here and how it works!

I wonder if they are going to ship out new adapters to all of us that bought 'em some time ago.... I'll let you know.

DUH...just saw the sticky with the info when this posted directly under it. As Rosanna Rosanna Danna used to say.......never mind.

I purchased a stick mid-summer and love it. I bought another one for back-up in Sept. The original one quit on me last night. The manual button seems to be the problem as it does not pop back out. Lost the atomizer too as I think it burned it out before I realized it was stuck down. Anyway I know there is a 6 month warranty on the stick and that I have had it less than that. How do I initiate the warranty claim.

Thanks

Thanks TM and Ladyraj,
I have been using also the Joye302's...but everyone that I knew carried low-bridges have all been out. I have given up on buying the Classic ones, just not worth the effort.
Maybe just the 'holiday' is making everyone short. But I needed batteries also, so wanted to save shipping. The TAWA Janty's are pretty close in price. Just don't order those (forgotten name!) 5 for $34 have heard rumors about reliability and am not even sure those are the low ones. I can wait awhile yet..no need to panic until those dog-gone high bridge ones show up in the bottom of my box, I have ten of them and hate them each with a passion.

new batch have arrive for long time in my local place. it's performance is better than old batch but not equivalent 510 standard battery.i think like that. my local supplier told me about the resistance in this adaptor,
in the new batch adapter is still have resistor but it's lower than old batch.
it's reason why 510 atty is not powerful when use with JS new batch adaptor .so now i want to try put this resistance of.

Inquiring minds want to know. I have two that need to be replaced but I haven't heard anything from them.

I opened a ticket on the jantyusa website to ask about it and Ethan said he'd ship one out today. Didn't hear anything before that, although they may have something in the works. Best bet is to open a ticket, JW.

I hope they work. We'll see.

Oh poop- not wired straight through? That's not good news at first blush- I like my lower resistance 510 atty's better than the ones I measure at a higher resistance all in all. I can't imagine that adding a resistor between the stick and the 510 atty would be good. I guess we'll see when they arrive. I'd be very happy to eat all these words.

Must have something to do with the Stick's board, like detecting if your 801 is about to blow up from overheating, but they can only do it at around 3.6 ohms where the 510's resistance is closer to 2.2 ohms. If I had to warranty atomizers I'd build in something like that too, I suppose.

No matter what I do, the high bridge atomizers seem to be worth their weight in used coffee grounds. Wish I knew why.

Why would the adapter have any resistance!!?? That's crazy. The only job it should have is delivering the batt voltage to the 510 atty from the 801 connection inside. It should have zero in-line resistance.

I'll be really disappointed if the unit doesn't make the 510 work like normal. All I want is for the JS to be a battery and usb mod for a 510 - just like it is now for an 801. Has anyone put an ohm meter on the new unit?

Can anyone from Janty comment on this? Mik? Ethan?
