Good to know. I notice they specify that one should vape using their own juice & could otherwise void the warranty, I imagine its a PG perhaps far east made juice. I love it all, but mostly VG & being a 6V head is the reason why I burn through attys every few weeks or so. I'm tempted to go for it but would feel bad putting the warranty through its paces but then again if they don't mind I sure wouldn't mind paying a bit more for unlimited attys for 6 months!

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, but if you use the atomizers at 6V, I don't think the warranty would apply. You need to use all Janty products for the warranty to be valid, and Janty doesn't do 6V. ;)

I just made an order for the BE112 atomizers for 801, from BestECigs
With shipping they were $71.+ for 10 of them, and they told me they were the low-bridge type. I could have sworn I bought from there before and they were the high-v bridges, so hope they're the right ones!
Seems like I've been finding those insulation fibers in the bottoms of an awful lot of the 801 attys lately, and boy I do mean awful....within an hour they're scorched nasty. I've been just pulling the fibers out, but they don't last very long. Helps the taste while they last though.

I ordered the rubberized version of the V3 and have noticed an after-taste which reminds me of the smell of new tires. I thought it may be my carts so I tried dripping...same rubberized flavor. I rationalized the "newness" of the coating and subsequent odor would decrease overtime, and it did, until the V3 got warm and the smell returned.

Has anybody else noticed this phenomena?

I mean, how does this work anyway? You guys designed it. Were you kind of forced to let them use the design or what? Because they are undermining Janty big time. Their deal is the better deal. More stuff for a lower price. That has got to piss you off.

Ehr.

1) we have explained how this system works in recent threads.
2) We offer the better deal:

Their deal is;

2 atomizers
1 SLOW charger ( 6 hours per battery )
10 carts
2 manual eGo batteries
1 UK charging adapter
1 atomizer cone
1 titan to tornado adaptor ( for being able to use the DURA charger with the eGO - the one they sell it with.. )

All of that has 28 DAYS of warranty. If your stuff breaks after that youre out of luck - and lets face it - atomizers + batteries will probably die AFTER 28 days, not likely before.

all of that they sell for = 50 GBP which converts to 80.95 USD.

We offer:

1 atomizer - 6 MONTHS warranty
2 manual ego batteries - 3 MONTHS of warranty
1 FAST USB charger = charge time 1.5 to 2 hours and requires NO adapter to use.
5 carts
1 atomizer cone
1 WALL PLUG adapter (which they are not offering) so you can use the charger with usb OR with a wall socket.

and our price for this (and remember the 6 month warranty applies to the charger + wallplug adapter + cone as well)

our price = 79.95 USD

However, you are the customer - you select where you want to buy. We are not going to stop you - nor are we going to say that TW is offering a bad deal: But our deal is a Janty-deal - and Janty believes our customers value both warranty, and customer service highly.

We are also offering the exact same accessories as they are, at the exact same price. But, - once again our warranty is 3 months ( single batts ) or 6 months ( for atomizers ) - unless you pick items that are specifically unwarranted (like the 5 packs - which neither we, nor TW provide warranty on due to the low pricing).

Oh and - everytime someone rebrands a Janty item, who do you think gets a slice of the cake? :)

So no, all in all - this is how business works and we are well in control.

As you V2 owners know, the button was ridden with issues. The V3 is supposed to have fixed that problem, but occasionally, my V3 doesn't do anything when I press the button. I've already opened up a ticket at Janty's website, but I just wanted to see if anyone else was having this issue or if I maybe just have a loose connection in mine or something.

Anyone?

Oh, and if anyone from Janty is reading this, you might want to check some of your RY4 labeled cart boxes. ;)

The RY4 I received inside the Stick's box was RY4. The extra pack was labeled RY4, but when I opened it, I saw the liquid was red in color. "Weird", I thought, so I popped it in and vaped it to see what it was. It tastes like strawberry, but you guys don't sell the strawberry classic carts on your website. I noticed a tiny little red oval sticker on it that says "NEW" in white letters.

It's not nearly as tasty as my RY4, but I will vape it since they are my free carts (thanks!). Just wanted to let you guys know so you can check the inventory.

I have had some miss fires and early terminations with my JSV3 button but so far I've attributed them to my own hesitation to really press down on the sucker ... bad memories of my JSV2 issues.

At least for me, when I do make a "serious" button push/hold, it stays on. What I suspect and hope is that this button will last well beyound the 3 months my JSV2 buttons latest.....finger/toes crossed :D

EDIT: I got the RY4 carts as well, and they were red-ish but to me...it was RY4 and I actually bought some RY4 juice as I found I like the flavor more than I remembered.

That sounds very weird.

I would probably try a different atomizer and a different liquid to see if the phenomenon reoccurs.. if it does send it back to the shop you got it from.

It does sound like a bad atomizer though - bad in the sense that it could use a good rinse!

Hmm, that's strange. Most of the times it fails, I'm giving it a fairly aggressive press, so I don't think it's a button contact issue...but I don't know.

The carts thing is also strange. The traditional "yellow" RY4 carts they sent me taste like RY4. The red ones have a very distinct fruity strawberry type taste to them.

Thanks for the responses Mik and WildSky! :) I'm using Janty Red Bull for dripping and the new RY4 carts sent with the V3. The atomizer was also part of the V3 set and works well in my V2 with no rubber after-taste. If I put the atty in my V3 the odor returns when the atty is placed under the load of a serious vaping session. I suspect this will fade over time just as my new car smell faded away. I was just curious if anybody else had the same experience.

Perhaps my sense of smell is returning with a vengeance! :)

Well, it's hardly TW's duty to be so decent to wait till Janty gets going. Maybe bad style, but this is business. And since most buyers probably won't read this forum, or feel the same way about this, they would be stupid to wait if they can find a way of selling them early. (Decent, but stupid.)

My gripes with TW have more to do with their grossly inflated shipping charges (10 quids to ship anywhere in the EU, no matter what) and their very mixed idea of service. Which means that if Janty even reasonably matches their price, chances are excellent that it's not TW that is going to get my money. (And they said they will.)

My gripe has to do with the fact that they do not warranty against DOA items in their multi packs..which is completely contrary to UK laws as far as distance selling which state that all items must be in working condition and that a customer has a 7 day "cooling off" period where they can cancel or change their order..

It's all good though janty good to their word added colors, atomizer cones, and spare batteries so guess who gets my order..

Im not totally sure about this, but i do believe its legal to do so IF they also state on their page that the batteries HAVE been tested prior to sending out.

However the 7 day return policy is law, and they can not circumvent that.
